I think as that reference list suggests...its kinda a three horse race. I guess for my money id go with hitler, because if the guy would have hung around or a few things gone differently in the war, he probably could have lapped the field in terms of killing people off and causing bad news.

I was always led to believe that Stalin had killed more people than Hitler and Mao(and by a fair margin) and that he had commited some cold hearted atrocities that would put Hitler to shame.
heavycola wrote:No, it has to be most people killed or imprisoned. Stalin surely?
MAddest hair - Karadzic FTW!

I actually converted around page 198. Unfortunately, I converted to satanism.
Considering he ordered the death of most his high ranking officers just because he thought they might pose a threat to his power? Yes, much worse. But when it comes down to Mao & Joe, then it gets complitcated.unriggable wrote:Stalin was way worse than hitler.

Keep in mind the state of China before Mao. He did a teeny bit of good.

krusher wrote:Hitler may have been alot of things, but he was in no way evil, he didnt kill 1 single soul through his entire life (other then him self)... Hitler shown as the Evil figure that we know today because of the liberal U.S media who won the war and determined what roll hitler would play in History, and if you were to take a History course about WW2 through the perspective of Germany you will see that Hitler wanted nothing more then a perfect world with no borders.
