If you haven't already, go to Berkeley bowl (grocery).jonesthecurl wrote:I may even become premium again once I have a little leisure after I move. I LIKE those Risk-type games, I just haven't had time for a long while.
I think I did it wrong. I ended up with the least expensive one being $4200/Month.jonesthecurl wrote:It wouldn't post the link.2dimes wrote:Rules?
But it's on zillow.com now if you look for Maplewood rentals, 5+ bedrooms.
not even in Mexico.PLAYER57832 wrote:Sounds about right...
Then again, where I live, I can buy a whole house for that! (yes, a fixer upper foreclosure, but a house).
OR, you can buy one that is in reasonably good, very livable condition for 30K.
Non-citizens cannot own property in most of Mexico (maybe all, not sure on that).nietzsche wrote:not even in Mexico.PLAYER57832 wrote:Sounds about right...

well, maybe on a hill surrounded by bushes and weeds and snakes.
Shit, I'll be happy if I can find a decent, small 2 bedroom condo for less than 250k.TA1LGUNN3R wrote:There are no houses for 30k in my area. You can't even get a plot of land for that price. About the only thing I've ever seen that cheap are beat up manufactured homes ready to move. You'll be lucky to find something of quality for 100k.

Actually, I imagine you might be serious, but if I had that kind of money, do you think I would be living where I am? -- the town, but not the house! (Its OK, but I really want some acreage)
Yeah, I know. Mexico is not a bad place, from what I here, if you stay in the right areas (beyond that, if you don't look and act native.... watch out). However, I prefer the places that only used to be Mexiconietzsche wrote:PLAYER57832 wrote:yeah, maybe with a nice bridge??.nietzsche wrote:No directly, but they use bank's trustfunds to own them.PLAYER57832 wrote:Non-citizens cannot own property in most of Mexico (maybe all, not sure on that).nietzsche wrote:not even in Mexico.PLAYER57832 wrote:Sounds about right...

With a bridge it would cost you much more.
Many Americans (and Canadians) come to live in Mexico, specially in places like Mazatlan because the climate but mainly because their money does more here.
Keep us posted on your exploits.jonesthecurl wrote:So here I am in Cali, but the moving van is gonna be about a week late. Spit.
PS the reason rentals in Maplewood are so expensive is because of the huge property taxes - my old place is almost 2 grand a month just for that.
