Saf wrote:The original quote was lynching an inactive. We have no idea if they are townie, they could just as easily be an inactive scum (See Matrix Mafia).
Saf wrote:Yeah, we lynched the inactive and he was the Mafia Godfather. For a more recent Example, Clue Mafia. We lynched Nark because he was inactive and he was a SKer. So no, inactive doesn't automatically mean town.
Saf wrote:Agreed, but as sens has just reiterated, he's equating an inactive lynch as townie. I'm pointing out that not all inactives are townie, so you cannot make blanket declarations saying that inactive lynches are townie lynches. Are inactives most likely townie? Course they are. But you can't say they all are.
Saf wrote:@ drake, how do you suggest we get them to stop submarining? This being Day 1 and with a lack of better cases, I'm willing to go for an inactive lynch in lieu of a better case. If you can't find a replacement and prods don't work, it's essentially just someone taking up space and possibly preventing us from reaching a majority.
edoku wrote:I too am comfortable with an inactive lynch In a game this large we can afford to throw a few townies under the bus in an effort to find lazy scum and weed out the unhelpful.
naxus wrote:I agree that a inactive in this game would be a good sacrifice.
votes for cky: drake, edoku, Victor, jonty, dazza, Squirrel, sens, tonka, sniper, sheep, naxus, chap in rapid succession. This was never about pressure, it was straightforward sacrifice. You're dressing it up like something else here. In your own words (see 2nd quote), this was to achieve a lynch, nothing more.
This is you trying to justify your actions. If we're gonna lynch him, just lynch him. I've no problem with lynching him either, but I do so honestly. I'm watching you, Saf. The people are watching you.
