Chariot of Fire wrote:You copied several people on your pm...thus it was no longer private, and obviously not privileged...just ask trap I sent our games to the right people. Dako is listed as the first contact for your fucking clan. He started the goddamn thread for f*ck's sake. I sent it to him and to the tournament creators. ToFU has delayed. There is no question about this.
It's not a question of whether the information is privileged. It was a PM and as such the content was intended for the recipients only. I didn't plaster your ridiculous PM of the other day (for which you later apologized) in any public forum. I would expect others to extend the same courtesy.
Is Dako listed as the first contact? That's odd, because in the Conqueror's Cup tourney thread it clearly states:
6. The Odd Fellows Union
- Leader: Chariot of Fire
- Secondary Contact: DakoWhether Dako started this particular thread is irrelevant. Simple protocol was ignored when you excluded me from your addressees when games info was sent.
TOFU has not delayed.
Fact - Legion were the last to join the games (where joining was possible).
Fact - LFAW's foeing of Iron Maid is further delaying progress.
So maybe you should get your house in order before you make barbed comments such as
"Anybody else think it is funny that now they give a f*ck about delay?"
This is the way the thread that Dako created read when I copied its contents the first time I saw it:
TOFU
- Primary Contact: Dako
- Secondary Contact: Chariot of Fire
++The Legion++
- Primary Contact: chemefreak
- Secondary Contact: ralphcptc
EMPIRE
- Tournament Organizer: Chuuuuck
- Tournament Organizer: TheSpaceCowboy
Well you're obviously not very good at copying are you, if that is indeed what you did at all.Additionally, the rules are as follows:
Each clan should send their home games to the opposing clan by private message by the start day of the round. When games are sent, they must already be created, however, they do not have to be fully joined by home team yet. TheSpaceCowboy and myself should be copied in the private message sending each clans home games. This is not required but is highly recommended.
There is nothing in the rules about sending them to any person in particular, and at the time, I thought Dako was in charge.
I didn't quote the rules. I merely said it was protocolI apologized to you for the tone of pm only after I reflected on it for a while and felt bad about calling you out as an idiot in front of so many people...now, after even further reflection, I rescind my apology, and only want to say I am sorry you are a fucking moron...and you will notice that I did not bother to put this in a "private" message.
You simply didn't like a password with spaces in it and became abusive. You then apologized. Now you rescind the apology, being the shallow person you are, and once more become foul-mouthed and abusive. You're not very decisive for someone in your profession are you.As for the delay issue. We had joined all the games until we realized your clan was going to wait until the very last second to join them so you could get the first view of fog games and perhaps get a turn in before we had a chance to see them.
And just how would you know this to be the case? Perhaps it doesn't register in your tiny mind that a lot of our players have been away or are too busy to start new games prior to necessity. If you look at the make-up of our teams you might just notice that we have a lot of absentees and not until everybody's final agenda was known were we able to select the maps and teams that we did.I feel that you are a bunch of pansies for doing this and recommend that our players join anyway. However, in every such game, our clan decided to have one player drop so as to not allow you that advantage.
So let me get this straight. We're a 'bunch of pansies' for joining late (a deliberate ploy in your mind) yet your very clan opted to do it on purpose. To say you recommended that your players joined, when in fact they joined last, are very hollow words indeed. The funny thing is, you guys think this is going to be so easy (as you have stated several times), yet you have gone to such great lengths to gain even the smallest advantage. Cheap tactic. Very cheap.
Care to quote any statements where we've said this is going to be easy? You delayed. If you guys had joined the games within a relatively reasonable time period, the foe list issue could have been dealt with quickly (as it was in this case) and before the deadline had expired. I am sick and tired of this shit. It took you guys two whole weeks to come up with dubs, trips, and quads on the same maps...seriously? Then you wait to join games, games you created and clearly knew who was going to be in them.
See my earlier comment re availabilityAs for the publicity of "private" messages...you have to be joking. There is no such rule or requirement. And that pm was not a tournament organizer/clan leader pm, it was copied to the affected parties. It was not private, and if you think it should have been, post it in C&A and stop crying here.
I never said there was a rule or requirement - you really should read things properly. I said it was discourteous. Having read your reply I can honestly say I'm not surprised anymore. There's often a gentlemen's agreement in respect of fog games and this is widely practiced by THOTA, TSM & LoW (amongst others, I expect). Maybe it's something that can be considered for the next batch of games, though from the base language of your correspondence and the flaws in your argument it is quite clear you are neither a gentleman nor someone who is at all agreeable.
