It is possible that at this point in the game the cult thought their leader was not their most important role. They could have chosen to protect some one else. Like whatever role killed Suspect today. The cult had to know that whatever member the bodyguard took the hit for would probably be lynched the next day. So maybe they protected something with a day action? I don't really see them wasting their bodyguard by having him protect a townie though. So it would seem that stroop is still cult, but possibly not the leader. Even so he should be lynched.Juan_Bottom wrote:Based on the people who voted for Derf, I wonder if Haggis was blocking the wrong cult member... maybe stroop isn't the leader and blue is sacrificing him... it's one or the other, leader, or subordinate....

Stroop wrote:A lot more likely is that Haggis's action wasn't only bodyguarding. I think he had 2 actions, which he both had to use on one target (like a jailkeeper). The other action could be roleblocking or anything else Nate would find a good fit (after the "flip flopper", I have no idea what to expect from a role anymore).
Yeah, and it doesn't seem that likely...Stroop wrote:Have you considered this?Stroop wrote:A lot more likely is that Haggis's action wasn't only bodyguarding. Understand that since it only take a majority to lynch, that not everyone gets to vote for the person being lynched, and that in this situation there will be at least as many cult members voting for stroop as not. That being said, the case against stroop appears to be a sure thing and I will cast my vote right after my couple questions are answeredSuspect101 wrote:This means vote stroop, unless you are cult as well spiser.
Not quite, There are 11 people left. Only 4 are blue cult, if they recruited last night, which I am sure they did. (Ace might have been that target, and have a strong feeling that he killed william.) assuming they did not grab Ace that leaves 5 cult members, and 6 town. Which the town has the majority and the ability to vote lynch. The numbers are not equal, the town still has the upper hand.I don't think I can be recruited quite honestly and I did not kill william, why would I? Right now not hunting for blue will make me lose and I don't want that.spiesr wrote:You are the blue "cult investigator" right? Did you previously investigate stroop and find him cult? Because I thought that if you tried to kill a townie, something bad would happen. If that is true and you had not previously investigated stroop, why would you take the risk of attempting a kill against an unconfirmed? If you had previously investigated stroop and found him to be cult why wouldn't you have said something? Or I am just misunderstanding what happen if you target a townie?
Becuase of the derf lynch, which I was strongly against for this reason, if I did not kill a blue cult, they would have 5 town would have 6 and with Ace left over. The game is over. Blue cult would win. All they have to say is "Ace vote no lynch and we will make you blue and give you the win". Even if I got a confirmed investigation, there is no majority to get a lynch, which is why as I explained we needed to keep derf alive. So I killed a person who I was 90% sure was cult and now know for sure.
Again, I don't think I can be recruited to blue now, despite the fact that would be good for me.spiesr wrote:We don't need to blow through the day so fast we don't get any discussion...
agree, but since stroop is at L-4, your vote would be appreciated to show your allegiance
spiesr wrote:Ace, what exactly do you mean by quoting that post of suspect's? Are you just saying that that is your position on the matter?

Guilty?

Based on the last vote, and this latest one... It feels to me like some blue are voting for Stroop, while some are remaining silent. So what I'd like to know is if I'm right; Why would they do that?
To look like townies by being on the vote when a blue cult member is lynched.Juan_Bottom wrote:It feels to me like some blue are voting for Stroop,

So you think stroop is town and the blue cult is trying to bandwagon him in order to win today? Why would the cult bodyguard be guarding stroop if he was not cult?norsemsn1066 wrote:It would seem that is what is happening here. So you think that stroop is a cult member but possibly not the leader because the cult is sacrificing him? So you don't actually agree with norse despite that you said you did. How would the cult choose to sacrifice him? Remember that we found him out because suspect tried to kill him last night, but he was saved the the cult bodyguard. It looks to me that the cult was trying to keep him alive. The Fuzzy Pengui wrote:Agreed. That's why I haven't voted for him yet. I fear they may just be throwing the first "unimportant" person they could under the bus to save the rest of their cult and be able to win. I could vote stroop if the rest of the town would like, but I'd rather be 100% sure it's the leader instead of allowing them to recruit somebody else tonight.
