Don't worry Vikings Fans... the Bears will probably lose at Houston anyways.

That's right, sack. Will the bears maul the texans? Will the vikes...um...sack the giants? We'll know in a few hours. Cheers.

Also, it's a little off-topic, but i'm looking forward to the late game: broncos/chargers. My fiancee is from San Diego.

I'm basically wishing for a Bears/Chargers superbowl. Could happen.

Let the fun begin!

The Vikings pull a rabbit out of their hat to beat the Giants
and WIN THE NFC NORTH... as the Bears wilted against the Texans.

Looks like the Packers are sending the Lions to 0-16 infamy too.

Ohhh... the Falcons came oh so close to winning the NFC South
as the Saints rallied bigtime against the Panthers.

Tampa Bay loses their 4th in a row... now the Cowboys/Eagles game is a winner take all playoff matchup.
HOLY CRAP! Go Get 'em Cowboys!

GO DOLPHINS! You can do it big fishies!

I knew something didn't feel right after I wrote that...good catch. I guess that comes from just hearing the phrase wild card repeated by various announcers throughout the day.

Anyway, Go Chargers!

NFC North Champion Vikings vs NFC East Wildcard Eagles

Post by oVo »

but... the Vikes do host a Wild Card game against the Eagles.

CONGRATULATIONS! to Andy Reed for leading Philadelphia to his 7th playoff in 10 years, also to
The Tuna,Tony Sparano and Chad Pennington for guiding Miami to an AFC East Championship
and a playoff spot.

Condolences to Wade Phillips as the wheels came of the cart in Philly and his Cowboys blow the big one again, also to Bill Belichick and Matt Casselfor going 11-5 and not making the post season.

One playoff spot remains... Go Chargers!

Speaking of laughers... if Adrian Petterson doesn't have a big day...
meanwhile, the Dirty Birds are done as the Cardinals rush on through and

the BOLTS & COLTS are in OT

WOW!
CHARGERS WIN!
and Sproles is the definite MVP of this one.

Why do the Vikings suck so? They should have taken Jackson out...he gave up on the game.

Jackson had some good throws...he was erratic, and when he threw poorly, the Eagles made it hurt.

All four NFC North teams are out, sportsfans. Should we retire the thread? It's been a fun journey...

(Go Chargers, by the way. Whip the Steelers!)

I second this notion. He may not have given up entirely, but he was in no position to handle the pressure towards the end of that game and made some horrific decisions. Do they have a viable back-up who could have covered, though? I'm unaware who their second string is.

Oh well... I was rooting for the Eagles anyway

My condolences to Minnesota fans, I thought they were gonna roll in the second half,
but I don't blame Jackson. After all, he wasn't the one who failed to stop all those
Eagle blitzers from running wild in the Viking backfield.
