He didn't make the plays. While I don't blame the entire loss on him, he must have missed wide open receivers at least three times. I mean, at least he didn't throw three interceptions or anything, but if you can't throw a ball to an open man inside of ten yards you shouldn't be a quarterback in the NFL.
Grossman just can't seem to grasp the fact that you don't have to hurl the ball in the same pattern as the St. Louis Arch. There are such things as short, crisp passes that only pick up five yards at a time...and so far, there is no NFL rule against throwing a line drive pass now and again.
At least you guys have someone who can throw the ball upfield in the quarterback position. I'm still amazed that Dallas snuck by Tampa Bay a few weeks ago, considering the Cowboys don't even have an active QB who would start on a Big 12 south team at the moment.
The Vikings tried their best to let the Packers steal that game at the end. Adrian Peterson going over 1000 yards for the season wouldn't have meant much if this one had slipped away.
The Titans remain unblemished and the Giants are rolling with a kick-ass running game too.
For me this was a disappointing win. We beat Green Bay in all areas of the game. But we keeped them in the game with Frerotte throwing 3 picks which lead to at least 10 points and another punt return for a TD. If Frerotte checks off on his first reciever he seems to throw into coverage. He is just better off throwing a bomb then try anything mid range. Right now I'll take Grossman even up for Frerotte. So many disappointments so many years. Is Flutie still out there?

I wonder what the odds of an NFC North team facing the Giants in the playoffs are. I'm interested in seeing the Not Packers get that far so that I can get a better comparison of them to our division...right now they look like the best team in the NFL, but how much better than the rest are they?

I dunno, but some of the calls they got in their last game were really bad.
