Thanks riazor. Kontrols in castle will be renamed.

I have a quick question, and can't be arsed trawling through 42 pages to see if there is an answer in there. How on earth do you win this map? I've been involved in a terminator game, where obviously you can't terminate because of the bottomleft corner.
I have seen someone take all of the objectives, and they didn't win. So now, I have no idea how on earth we are meant to get rid of this map? If we can't terminate, and a player doesn't win when taking all 4 of the objectives, I can't see how on earth we are meant to clear it.

The problem is - that the poll is no longer valid - as at least 2 people have voted incorrectly - due to it's ambiguity...
Thus making a decision on the poll as is - is meaningless.

C...i've already stated previously that your vote is changeable. i just tested it, and i am able to do it, so i suspect you must be able to do it also. Therefore it is not meaningless.

My vote is changeable - but what about other people who have voted not understanding the poll - but haven't returned?

Ideas anyone?
I have won a game on this 4 player mode by gaining the objective and holding it for one round. That is what is required. You must hold the objectives for one turn, get them and providing no-one takes them from you, at the beginning of your next turn, you will win the game. If you lose them, then it's back to the gaining the objective again. Lesson: make sure that when you get them, you fortify them with plenty of reserves so that they can't be taken. Eventually someone will win.

We don't know how many of them there are...

i think most people understood the poll or they would have asked. Now can we can get back to the map instead of arguing the Christ over this. The poll stands as is.

Aaaahhh... thanks. That should be interesting, considering everyone is on escalating cards.

I have extended the poll on this map until 21 June. There are still some 90 odds games being played on this map, so there is no hurry to get it back up as I want those games to finish completely before the new version is up.

I expect you'll be waiting a VERY long time - some are 8 player no card games, which unless a number of the players play ver very poorly will last into the 100s of turns

That's cool, cause unless there is a way that lackattack will agree to put another version, then it would interfere with that game you speak of. I don't want to do that.

when the hell is someone going to be able to conquer 18 armies from two different territories for a total of 36 armies? That seems WAY too high.
I like the idea of having a way to eliminate someone. Some games will definitely become a never ending stalemate so having something with 30 killer neutrals or whatever would be nice. This is different from the helicopters because we want people to use the helicopters sometimes right? This is something we want to be used rarely.
I would personally like to see the idea of not being able to eliminate players being persevered with.
If however this isn't the case, then there needs to be many different access routes to the killer tower or whatever it is that can target the starting positions, otherwise the game (espec esc) would boil down to control of the bottleneck that accesses it. Esc sets will easily get into 3 figures in most games, so smashing a stack of 30 in order to get more 3 figure cashes seems a touch too easy. I think the killer tower could go as high as having 99 neutrals, resetting each turn if this was the path chosen. Just my 2p as usual!
Benjikat, Edbeard, Yeti_c & others, i am following this discussion. I want to acknowledge your input on this, thanks. I am at present just working away on Forbidden City waiting for some of these Das Schloss games to finish, so do keep the input coming.

The notes on the map need to be updated guys - I took all the objectives, going out on a limb - and next round got spanked. But it says NOWHERE about hold them for a round, it just says take them. Thanks a bunch for costing me a game! :s Please update the map notes, I shouldn't have to come look on the forums to find out the actual way to win a map, eh?

I do actually enjoy the gameplay. I cannot comment on how the map should work with various numbers of players--my only experience was a Fog game with 3 teams (my team did not win). But I like the idea of a map which is only resolvable by an objective, and that none of the players can actually be eliminated beforehand. I would not play this map 47 of 50 times if I had to choose one, but as an occasional break from the normal style of CC maps (you conquer regions, you eliminate players, you end as the last person on the map with troops), I am glad there is a map like this which genuinely is a different concept.

Milltycoon. thanks for the feedback and your honesty. The map will change hopefully so that it is easier to end these games.

Echoing what others have already said: -Fun map -It's a nice change of pace from the regular gameplay to have a map where you can't get eliminated (and thus removing Terminator and Assassin gameplay types). -Experience with the map so far has only been one game (in progress) -Clarification of what is required for end game would be appreciated on the map -To expand on the last point, removal of the need to hold the four territories for a full round (in my opinion) might help focus that 'jail break' feel the map seems to have. i.e. - As soon as you hold the territories for escape, you've escaped and won.
