Indeed, good catch. Very well played Mr. Anarchist. Well played indeed [twirls mustache]

Awesome, InkL0sed has a post restriction where he has to out his mafia partners in his first post of the game. This is too easy. Vote InkL0sed.

Certainly, it couldn't be that ink had to accuse the last four posters, as is clearly the case here? Ahh, yes, that would be far too simple again, wouldn't it, Mr. Leon? [twirls mustache again, then realizes he can't grow facial hair]

I'm not sure if you skim, ignore the facts that the mod gave, or just plain don't care. Either way, it's a bad way to play...let me spell it out for you:

got tonkaed wrote: Times were hard in Barrington Asylum but people found a way to make the best of difficult circumstances. The asylum was still relatively young, but already there was complaining among the staff about the absurdity of their mission. With around 1000 inhabitants and a skeleton crew of staffers, there were things that simply got missed. People went without their remedies, or more often, they went without in general. Staffers found it harder and harder to go to their job, seeing the hollowed out faces of the malnourished, diseased and dying. Those were the best cases though, because they were the ones who eventually were just going to fade away. It was the ones who the remedies didn’t always work for that were the dangerous ones, the ones who started to get angry when they were rounded up for daily care. There were other whispers amongst the patients about how things would soon change, how they were just not going to take it any longer. They were tired of the staff abuse and they just weren’t going to take it much longer.
It wasn’t that they were far from the truth either. The staff was abusive and it was clear that some members were beginning to take a little more delight in the fact that they had liberties in how they could treat the patients. Power was the currency in the asylum and they would do what it took to make sure they held on to it. Even some of the other staffers began, though most certainly in private, to wonder if some of their colleagues were going too far. It was becoming very clear that things were starting to teeter on the edge of stability at Barrington.

From all that I assumed what I posted in my earlier post. God forbid I take some time and think about what the scum are doing and how they are doing it when in the previous game most the inmates had issues, but weren't scum. Next time try it for yourself...I'm sure using a little brain power won't kill you

i agree this seems very scum like to me, why would you say that unless you knew for certain? it would be a very random guess otherwise.

Of course I read the first post.. but none of the stuff you highlighted relates to your very specific theory.

It never mentions with-holding meds to specific patients, or the abusers doing this for their own gain.

I agree that talupus's theory seems we're all diegonna die... like quite a reach, considering how confident he sounds. And, since any vote has to do on day 1...
vote talupus

I think, with 34 people, there are likely godsave our souls oursouls multiple factions, including good patients, bad patients, good staff, and bad staff. The fact that someone is insane doesn't necessarily make them scum, considering that this is an insane asylum. It would be far too easy to pick out scum if all you had to do is find the crazy people.

It sounds like we're on to something here, so let's see where it goes.
Also: I think Ditocoaf has a post restriction too...how many are there in this game?!

I'm not jumping on the wagon yet, but I do question what you're saying. By the text I marked red in the above post, what do you mean by "make them do whatever they want"?

Also, by saying that the "insane aren't a threat yet, but probably will" is a dangerous suggestion, because I tend to agree that the mix of good and bad insane in this game is likely, so why make it sound like even if they're good, eventually they won't be, which basically means lynch all insane?

:? How exactly am I backtracking??? I put a theory on the table for consideration. I'm more then willing to listen to any theory you have or the other bandwagoners, but I guess it's just easier to bandwagon then think for yourselfs. This is what got us in trouble in the first asylum game...

They're crazy....take the drugs away from any junkie and they will pretty much snap. Also the fact that meds are pretty much keeping most of us sane at the moment doesn't help. The fact that there are corrupt employees in charge of the rest of us and the fact that the meds and other things will run out makes it sound like certain people will use that to hold above other players heads. In the first game people were corrupt and able to convince or ask other players to do things for them. I think it's strongly possible that the same will apply here.

Lets be careful of lynching Talapus. To me , it looks like he has been misunderstood. His so called "back tracking" is, I believe, him just trying to explain himself.
I've been scum with wicked in another game, so i know shes devious, and Anarkist...well, top bloke, but clever..so lets be careful.
My hunch is that Talapus is sound.

I also agree with Suggs. I haven't seen any real backtracking in this game as much as just further explaining an idea that he threw out there.

Yeah, when I read tappys theory I knew from the other game that if you don't medicate certain patients that they have the potential to become scum. I would like to see how he's backtracking and why he deserves to be lynched. Remember in the last game the insane where basically survivors that needed to be medicated.

All I know is that Anark has been throwing votes around like crazy. Anyhow, I think Tal's theory works in the framework provided, and was the same concept I had when tonka brought up the potions.

All I know is I don't want to be potioned...

Why do you think Nark has been suspicious?

If I had to pick bewteen the two i'd say Talapus.

I have voted three times in 20 pages. How is that "Throwing them around"?

Sheep is dumb is just that... a sheep. So his backing you up isn't exactly helpful.

You will also notice I have been the most active player in this entire game, so three votes isn't that bad.
