Schedule:
Set 1: Games exchanged by 19th February - 2 weeks to fillSet 1: Games exchanged by 26th February - 2 weeks to fill3D, 4T, 4Q
Set 2: Games exchanged by 12th March - 2 weeks to fill4D, 3T, 3Q + Tie breaker
The Tie-Breaker game for all the rounds will be Triples on Classic, sunny, chained, no spoils (does not count toward player game maximum)
Maximum amount of games a player can participate in: 16 Games
[spoiler=Rules and Settings]
- Only game types allowed are "Teams" (Polymorphic is not considered a team game)
- All games must have automatic initial troop deploy (no manual)
- All games must be sequential (no freestyle)
- All games must have 24 hour round length (no speed)
- All spoils are allowed except zombie spoils (negotiable)
- All forts are allowed except "no forts" (negotiable)
- There will be no round limits except for “no forts” and Trench games (For those games a round limit is negotiable)
- Trench is permitted in a maximum of 50% of home games (negotiable) Trench is permitted without maximum
- Each map can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type (dubs/trips/quads)
- Beta maps are not allowed
- Each clan will pick the map and settings for exactly half of the games
- Games will be exchanged in 2 sets
- At least half of the quads games will be exchanged in the first set
- 12 Hour Fog Rule will be in effect
- New settings that are implemented after the start of the Cup will be excluded from wars (negotiable with specific approval of TO)

Fog rule :
If a clan breaks the fog rule, they must copy past within 12h the name of territory that were taken turn 1, and what was visible from those territory for the other team.
If this is not done, the offended clan can ask for a rematch, but this must be done before turn 2 of the game.
Fog rule does not apply in conquest map or if no territory is taken during the first turn.

so maximum number of games a player can play is 16... and we just have one home and one away series? this is my first time as an understudy so I am just being sure....

Any thoughts on when LHDD will lose a game in this? It looks like they will win every game in the first exchange. That may be some sort of record.

Yes it is quite likely now the first set will finish 20-0 ( 1 or 2 games could still flip but we are ahead in all of them).
I can tell you we are quite focused on CC8 this year, we've got no other competition ongoing, and have been recruiting new and skilled member since last year.
Also, we didn't got much back luck in our games, plus a few miss turn on LOTZ that they couldn't afford.
I did expect to win this with a strong margin but seriously didn't think we'd be able to pull a 20-0,

Its a tough path for us, with likely having to face FOED and S&M to get there, but we need to get back to the finals after last year's failure.

I also I wouldn't call ur last year result a failure, especially compared to ours

Not sure what you are questioning? We failed in the finals last year vs S&M.

He's saying that its not a forgone conclusion that those are the teams we will face, I think...and I admit that its not, but unless there is an upset, those are the teams we will face.

Hey i think it could be fun if we lost this war on set 2 after going 20-0 on the first set. No one could beat that in the history of the cup.
