Conquer Club

Thanks to all for contributing their opinions. I have quite enjoyed this debate. Lance points to the potential abuse of a system where users could "declare" their real-world relations who are also playing on this site. However, I think something along those lines would be useful if it could somehow be protected against abuse. If I come up with something brilliant, I'll post it as a suggestion. Until then, I'm glad this matter has come to a close. My heart goes out to olkok for having to deal with this mess. Also, thanks to the mods who try to keep the playing field fair for us all.

I would like to thank everyone who has posted comments to this topic. Due to the overwhelming response, the mods did take another look at our accounts and have restored our privileges. I do not know the reason but I am glad they were reversed. I do not hold any grudges against CC or anyone involved in the situation as they were just doing what they are supposed to do, and I hope they continue to do just that.

Well done..and great to see that CC IS focused on taking care of their customers. It is nice to see that this thread showed reasonable conversation can take place between community and mods. That is exactly what this forum needs more of.
