You have a book?

Sym, if hypocrisy causes cancer, you're a dead man.

Obviously, your CC witch-hunt against the bugaboo of 'homophobia' puts you in the exact same camp as karel.

I watch one football game a year, the Superbowl. May skip even that this year. I watch EVERY nascar race, and have been given a lot of grief for it over the years. However....it is the second most popular viewed sport on TV, after the NFL. Maybe now it will be #1....these drivers and teams ALL do so much for the needy, all year long. Oh....and they respect our flag, anthem and military men and women.....I'm happy about my sports preferences ;o)

But KoolBak, these protests have nothing at all to do with our flag, the anthem, or our military men and women. Their actions are not at all in response to those things, nor are their actions disrespectful at all. IN POINT OF FACT, Colin Kaepernick's kneeling was started by his discussions with a former Green Beret. In other words, this form of protest was SUGGESTED by someone who had been a Green Beret. Think about that...perhaps it may change your perspective.

BULL. If they weren't about the flag, the anthem or America in general these people could take a knee at Wal-Mart, the gas station or anytime they see a "pig" cop. But when THE ONLY TIME you protest is DURING THE NATION ANTHEM..... you are saying something AGAINST the anthem.

Instead of watching football and paying into that pro-monster machine, why not go out and get some exercise and play your own game.

... but I recommend 'two-hand touch' or 'flag'... tackling causes brain damage.

They are very clearly not. You've been told why they're taking a knee. You know why they are protesting. Pretending that you don't know, and saying that they are protesting against something you want to believe is just dishonest, jay.

You can oppose their protest all you want- that too is part of your freedom. Suggesting that they're just haters of the national anthem just makes you seem a bit silly though.

Kapernick said, he could not stand for the anthem/flag of a country that oppresses black men or something VERY similar.... THAT is a protest against AMERICA! Don't try and color it differently, you look silly.

----America yes, BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTEST ON PRIVATE PROPERTY...A NFL FOOTBALL FIELD....AGAINST NFL RULES ABOUT STANDING ON THE FIELD DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM FACING THE FLAG IN A RESPECTFUL MANNER...The 1st Amend. has nothing to do with NFL rules as a private business...Take the kneeling to the driveway to the parking lot, and block people from getting in...See how their bosses would like that... :lol: :D ConfederateSS.out!(The Blue and Silver Rebellion)... :D

So, is it affirmative that karel is pimpdave's newest proxy? Or some other random troll? That said;

I wonder how many people touting about how sacred the flag is, thought it was a great idea to defend the confederate monuments. You know, the statues commemorating traitors to the United States of America, and only erected to help enforce Jim Crow Laws and counter the Equal Rights movements? My guess is; probably the same people. Despite it being rather hypocritical.

Also, what about the Constitution? You know, the document that actually lists the freedoms and rights granted to the citizens of the United States of America? Or, does only the second one matter?

*Cue the "stupid liberal, git out uv mah cuntry!" jargin*

Do you folks think it's better to say "a NFL football field" or "an NFL football field"? I kind of think that the former is better, but the latter flows more smoothly. The "N" in "NFL" of course, is not entirely acting as a letter- it's a word representing the letter too. The word being pronounced something like "en".

A question of style folks.
