The board of Tournament Directors now officially posting a new Minimum Requirements Update that requires all tournaments to

last no longer than 1 year in length

As a result, I have changed the spoils from Flat Rate to Escalating, as, under current conditions, play cannot possibly finish within one year.

There are 2 ongoing games, Quarterfinals Game A (Game 8294183) and Quarterfinals Game B (Game 8294184), each with 3 players.

To allow for this first round of the Quarterfinals to finally finish, I will create a new 3-player game with Escalating spoils for the players in each game. The winner of this "side game" (so to speak) will advance into the Semifinals of the tournament.

After both games finish, we will begin Round 2, in which the 28 remaining players are randomly divided into 4 games of 7 players each.

All games to be created in this tournament will now have Escalating spoils, as agreed upon by the organizer and players of the tournament.

Again, I apologize for the massive delays. I should have seen this coming from the start.

Again, I express the utmost apologies and am very embarrassed by the inexcusable delays with this tournament.

Hopefully, the switch from Flat Rate to Escalating spoils should speed up games and get this tournament on the right track.

I have applied a 50-Round limit to all games. I did not think it would be neccesary with Escalating spoils but one of our games from last round I had to apply the round limit due to a stalemate.

Again, very sorry for the slow, crawling pace of this tournament. Hopefully it will make the victory more satisfying...
