Steve does want. The drop, dice and everything went my way in 2 games with mac so I'm open for business. 'Course mac is severely brutalizing me in the 3rd game but....

but...that third game doesn't mean diddly when you decimate and destroy in the first two games...

Welcome, grt! I've got you added to the Ladder. Just an FYI...The Ladder will be resetting here shortly, so I recommend that you get a challenge or two under belt for experience.

Winter is Coming!!!
It's that time of year to reset the SoC 1v1 Ladder and here's what you need to know with our Game of Thrones theme...
1. No new Ladder challenges will be accepted after September 15, 2016. The Ladder will reset on October 1, 2016. Any active challenges on October 1, 2016 will not count for the Ladder. If all challenges are complete before October 1, then the Reset may happen sooner.
2. As always, all Ladders stats and medal counts will carry over from Ladder v4.0 to Ladder v5.0.
3. Just like the Seven Kingdoms being at war with each other, so will Ladder players. The Ladder will be "nuked" with wildfire. All Players will be placed into a pool with no rank.
4. Players will challenge each other following current Ladder v4.0 rules.
5. All Active players will be listed in a new post that will be made on September 30, 2016. No challenges can be made until 0001 October 1, 2016 CC Time.
6. All Active players will be listed in a new post on this thread. This post will be used to pick your opponent and will be refreshed several times a day.
7. All Players can only issue ONE (1) challenge. Once a challenge is issued, please post it like normal. Challengers will then have their name turned RED. Challenged players will have a strikethrough through their name. Players with a strikethrough in their name cannot be challenged by someone else.
For Example: Tom challenges Dick, so it would look like: Tom and Dick. Dick then challenges Harry, so it would now look like this Dick and Harry.
9. The Ladder has always moved chronologically, so the FIRST person to post their victory, will be placed #1 and that loser will be at the bottom of the Ladder. The SECOND person to post their victory will take the #2 spot and the loser will take the second to last spot...and so on. It doesn't matter who challenges who, winner moves up and loser moves down.
10. Win your second match, move up five spaces (including taking over #1)...Lose your second match and move down five spaces.
11. All Players have seven days to issue their challenge. Those players who have not been challenged or issued their challenge will be randomly placed into a 1v1 match using best two (2) out of three (3) games with Esc - Chained - Sunny - No Trench settings.
12. ALL Players must participate in the Reset. No one can request to be placed at the bottom of the Ladder.
Just like before, we have to figure in the TWISTS to the Ladder Reset...here they are:
"Jon Snow" aka Twist #1 - Win both of your matches with a score of 2 - 0 in each match, you automatically move up to #1 and choose one player to drop ten (10) rungs. Jon Snow has won two major battles (defense of Castle Black and retaking of Winterfell), but was betrayed by his Night's Watch brothers.
"Cersei Lanister" aka Twist #2 - Lose both of your matches with a score of 2-0 in each match, you automatically move to the bottom of the Ladder, but, you can immediately challenge for the #1 spot. "Cersei" (the Challenger) will choose the settings for all three games (no 4v4 poly or any poly trench or speed or manual or freestyle games). If "Cersei" wins, the Challenger moves to #1 and the loser moves to the bottom of the Ladder. Cersei lost both her sons (Joffrey and Tommen - who were kings), but was able to retake the Iron Throne from the High Sparrow and his influence by blowing up the Great Sept of Baelor with wildfire.
"Daenerys Targaryn" aka Twist #3 - Win both of your matches with a score of 2 -1 in both matches, you automatically move up an additional 5 rungs, but cannot take over the #1 position. The Mother of Dragons has had numerous conquests, but has also faced defeat. Her determination to retake her family's Iron Throne (and her dragons) drives her to persevere through insurmountable odds to claim victory in her battles...but the final battle still remains to be fought.
”Arya Stark” aka Twist #4 - Lose both of your matches with a score of 2 -1 in both of your matches, and you can automatically rechallenge BOTH of your opponents to a rematch. Defeat either one or both and you swap places with them. You cannot claim the #1 Ladder rung by using the “Arya Stark” twist. Arya Stark is a scrapper. She has her list of people who she plans to kill for wronging her or her family. She is determined and vicious...just ask Lord Walder Frey and the Hound.
Special Rules/Conditions for the GoT Ladder Reset
1. If a player is going to use their “Twist scenario” they must state it in the challenge.
2. The #1 Player may have to face more than one Challenger at the same time. Remember, everything runs chronologically. A #1 player may be dethroned while facing off against other challengers...those challengers would then lose their opportunity to be #1 and those games will not count for Ladder standings.
3. All medal counts will be placed on hold during the reset.
4. The rules from SoC 1v1 Ladder v4.0 will apply to all matches, except the notation made in the "Cersei Lanister" twist.
5. DIBS is not allowed during the Reset.

Yes...all stats and medal counts (consecutive wins) do transfer to the new Ladder, but will not be counted during the actual reset...Medal counts have never counted while the reset tourneys are/were taking place.
