Is this where I talk about the size of my wang?
Rather, would it be appropriate to discuss my physical asset, the mass of which is comparable to that of my ego, which is surely similar in luxurious radiance to the shining beacon of rapture we affectionately refer to as "mandyb?"
Amidoinitrite?

Hey nice thread Mandy...before this thread i just never thought about how similar this is to flirting in the real world...
Let me explain...
In real life flirting is, for the most part, innocent and fun... of all the people we will flirt with in our lives only 1 will become a spouse (2 or 3 for some)... in any case, there will be only a handful of serious relationships that develop...
So with Real Life Flirting 99% of the people we flirt we do just for the fun of it...
But with Cyber Flirting it is about 1% more, making it 100% just for fun...
But there is something more intriguing here... looks don't play a factor at all... in real life we choose who to flirt with based 1st upon looks.... 80%* of the time they're jerks and it ends there... but here everybody's personality is the 1st thing you see, unencumbered by the preconceived expectations determined by their looks...
of course this does have a few drawbacks as somebody already noted, i mean, what if they are not who they say they are... oh heck, in real life we pretend all the time, but what if i'm flirting with a guy who turns out is really a girl, actually in San Francisco there are plenty of guys dressed as nice looking women... or *cough*, what if ALL internet users were male... afterall, it could be argued that women are simply too smart to waste their time on the internet, or is it that women aren't smart enough to use the internet... whichever you want to beleive... WHAT IF?
Yes, so WHAT IF that was the case? Then i think the experience you received from flirting might not transfer in real life,,, on the otherhand, i do know some really sensitive gay guys out there, who are WAY better at flirting that i am... lol...
Anyway, I am wandering a bit here... the point i'm trying to make is that this is a safe place to practice flirting, and if you eventually do it right here, you just might not be such an arse in the real world...
* According to scientific studies, for the UK this changes to 96.4%, but for the Netherlands only 29% are jerks.

The percentage of jerks in the UK has increased slightly since I left...and decreased here.

Only 29% of the Dutch are jerks? Compared to over 96% in the UK?

The "skills" developed while practising "online flirting" are
not at all like the skills required for real life flirting.
I really can't believe anyone thinks otherwise.
A socially awkward, nervous, ugly person with bad breath can come off "looking" like a Casanova online.

Quite true. It is actually really sad.

It's comforting to know that there are still some good 'uns around, even if they are taken. x
I'm not taken.

It was the smilies that were flirting - and now half of the conversation has gone.
Who was that masked man?

Before you guys do anything idiotic, let me forewarn you that flirting online is HORRIBLE. I'm telling you, it is easy to fall into a pitfall. I'm Speaking from past experience. It's even worse if you place looks over personality.

My guide to you.
-Lie about yourself. You're wealthy, you're bigger then a house (Not fat mind you), you're "sensitive", you listen, you got a 16 inch penis...I think you get the picture after that.
I never said anything
