OK, so if you want to launch a campaign to have the state stop issuing marriage licenses to anyone, please get your friends to send you lots of money, and please spend all you free time working for that goal. It will keep you out of trouble.

I hadn't realized that you thought at all based on your last post there.

I have been thinking a lot about this and I actually think that I have changed my mind on this. Its just not right to exclude gays from being married. I think that marriage is a states issue, but if the states oppress someones rights because of their sexual preference, then I think that a mandate probably should come from the Federal level to protest those rights. were it me, I would want my rights protected.
But I don't think that Miss California said anything wrong.

I don't think Miss Cali really answered the question properly, and that this thing is being made about something it isn't...
She wasn't really very clear. She was put on the spot and struggled a bit. I imagine that cost her. But I haven't heard all the judges opinions on the matter. That was just my perspective from what I've seen.

I thought she was pretty clear. She said that, while she thought it was great that we lived in a country where we can do pretty much what ever we want, she believed that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Then she said, that was just how she was raised.

Yeah, she said she was anti-gay marriage. She didn't say anything about whether she thought other states should continue legalizing it. Related, sure, but definitely not the same thing, unless you're a narrow-minded twit who thinks there are only three types of people: wolves, fags, and metrosexuals.
