Alright, here's what i've done...
- Moved the queen over to the right a few pixels
- Lightened the stroke around any text that falls in the crease of the book
- Moved the Doab army count left and down a nudge
- Moved the Mysore army count to the left
- In Mysore, Doab, and Bajapoor I have lightened the railroad tracks a bit where the numbers will hit them; same effect as an army circle in that the background will interfere less with the count, but hopefully it is not so much that it will be distracting. It looks odd on the images above because there is no count, but if you look at Bajapoor below you'll see that it's not really detectable with counts.

Poll Results
Victoria should be referred to as...
You may select 1 option
Queen Victoria... 18...49%
Empress Victoria... 2...5%
Avoid the problem altogether and just write "Her Majesty's"... 4...11%
Somebody honestly cares? Silly Brit wankers. 13...35%

Any additional thoughts on all this?
And oaktown, I'm assuming that in your last post, those are the final links, yes?

Are the rail bonuses working??
Round 1, I dropped Bombay-Calcutta and no bonus

1st time on the map and so it is the first time I've seen how important Calcutta is.

I have yet to play the map, but I Assume you need to hold all the rail space in between those 2 cities to get the bonus.

"plus three sub bonuses for holding rail line between cities... the two southern lines cross multiple regions, and the Calcutta-Delhi line runs through the heart of a huge region that will be all but impossible to hold - thus the mini-bonuses to encourage activity in the center."
DOH (forhead slap)
Perhaps the sub bonus could be clearer on the map?? I don't know, like 3 different rail lines and using them on the legend? ie

I think there is a bug

Hi!
I think there might be a bug - in game 5026269 which I am now playing my opponent apparently got a full rail-line at the initial placement. But if I recall correctly, the initial placement is calculated so that no one gets a full continent and a rail-line on this map is a special kind of continent.
Am I right?
P.S.
I am in no way appealing the result of the game which I stand to lose in a few moves. My opponent should get the points no matter what is resolved about the ostensible bug.

Nope, there are no coded starting positions on this map. If somebody dropped a rail line they were extremely lucky. With 42 territories the odds of a player starting with a rail line are exactly the same as a player starting with Australia or South America in classic, and in my three years here I've yet to see that in a game I've been in.
As for the confusion over the rail lines, I don't understand how somebody can read "Hold Complete Rail Line to Connect Cities" to mean that you only need to hold two cities. I guess it happens, but do we have to hold everybody's hand around here?

Perhaps we can add another mountain between Kandeish and Rajpootana? I thought they connected.

I don't want to add another mountain, but in looking at that spot the mountain was thinner there than other place on the map. I've added some ink to make the mountain look impassable.
If there's nothing else I'll send this up to the lackster.
