good sugestion...

#31 (King Match) are now world 2.0
the rest will be the classic map

What did happen? Why did you change back to classic map to world 2.0 map in game 31, the King Match?

In my opinion that map will only worth playing after they implement the 8 players game that is already on the to-do-list.

But with 6 players, for the final, it would be really funny!
Of 'course with 8 it would be perfect...

Anyway, at least in my opinion, you should also think about how much a final played on World 2.0 map could increase the interess for your tourney. At least in my opinion this would give something really spicy to the competition and it would be a wonderful way to end the competition.
Moreover, remember that we play to have fun, so give us the possibility to dream about the final!

mmm I was thinking you could also make a poll between classic and World 2.0 map for the final...
In this way you would take the best decision about this isssue.

Ciao

World 2.0 is too unconventional for the final...

Lupo wrote:Grand Strategy site is using the following map taken from Risk II video-game. They also have many maps developed on CC. So, I asked about copyright issues to their site administrator. He told me he asked to the map makers copyright permissions, but about the classic map he told me that he didn't know it was taken from Risk 2...

1.so I would like asking to lackattack, if we could also use this map, since also the other site use it, maybe they had got the Hasbro approval, or maybe, most probably, they didn't care about asking copyright permissons....

2. why cannot we have also on CC both classic map both classic variant map (with new territories, bonuses and connections)? We could use for classic variant map the CC classic map layout and we could easily improve it without asking any copyright!

There are same good changes:

I think this new map is more balanced... Oceania that is the best place to start, now have lots of connections and other countries.

South America is now more difficult to hold to as well as N. America.

Africa on the classic is very difficult to hold for been in the middle, now with Oceania and S. America bigger would balance the game.

I will love to play this map… I would forget about the old classic.

I personally think this would be the best map where to play the King's Match, if it were quenched in time!
