Mafia Rules


1. This game is moderated by me. Whatever I say goes. If I make a mistake I’ll do my best to fix it. All roles will be random.

2. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.

3. Do not quote any PMs you receive from me. You may say your name, role, associated abilities and your actions. You may also paraphrase flavor. You may not post your win condition, how many words are in your role PM, what colour is your role, or any other way to get around not quoting PMs. Any failure to comply with this rule will result in a modkill.

4. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote Kalishnikov)
If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied.

5. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote; once the majority has been reached any unvotes will not be counted.

6. You may vote ‘no lynch’.

7. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you can.

8. Days will have no deadline; I reserve the right to put one if discussion is not going smoothly.

9. Nights will last approximately 48 hours (2 RL days). You will miss your action should you fail to send it during that time.

10. Once your death scene has been posted, it's over for you. You may post a bah/cheering post, but you can no longer post anything related to the game/actions/opinions/etc. Failure to comply to this rule will result in a permanent blacklisting.

11. Be attentive and active in the game. Inactives will be prodded 2 times, then replaced. If something prevents you to participate for a long period of time, announce it in the thread or via PM.

12. Don't get carried away and disrupt the game with spam. Night talk will be tolerated, as long as it isn't something of substance concerning the game, isn't mindless spam, and is about one of these 3 topics: anime, beer, music.

Day One

The town of Inglington was a large sub-urben town, filled with many inhabitants. It was just like every big city, big corporate businesses in the downtown area with towering buildings, Plaza's with a very good assortment of restuarents and food businesses, an airport, and all those other luxuries that are close to home. But there was something that Inglington had that every other city had aswell, but it certainly wasn't a luxury. It was a Mafia. The leader was Don Cappoli, and the family consisted of Big Mike, Trigger Larry, and Black Pete(who was known for his work as a Black Hand). The mafia family grew, as Black Pete continued extortion they were getting a profit, although not a large one. Soon Don Cappoli's mafia garnered much attention from the big mobsters, and thought that Cappoli's band of mobsters could work very well as muscle men in the drug trade. Don Cappoli got together with Don Ginzino, and agreed that the men would smuggle and run a drag trafficking deal with eachother, so that Cappoli would keep an eye on the drugs coming in to Inglington from North Inglington. Many months went by, and murders by the Cappoli's were commited. Soon, other's were on the tails of Don Cappoli and Ginzino. A boat with a 10 million dollar worth got lost in sea, and since Ginzino had absolute responsibility for it, he did the only thing he could do so that he wouldn't get killed, frame Cappoli. Don Cappoli and a his comrades got a visit from a man from North Inglington. " You screwed us over, now it's our turn to return the favour" said the skinny mobster, then he drove away. The entire family got together that night, to talk about the situation. After a few hours of debate, they all agreed to talk to Ginzino to see what was going on. Right after the meeting larry heard something. "Do you hear that? Sounds like a window opened". Then immediatly everyone ducked down right before the same skinny man that they meet earlier that day came out with a gun, shooting at the already ducking men. Larry quickly pulled out his glock and clipped the assassin twice, once on each shoulder." Who sent you to do this" screamed Cappoli. " Ginzino said you were the guys that lost 10 million. I was ordered to kill you" answered the assassin in a raspy voice. Cappoli and his men looked at eachother in digust." For that answer, your life will continue" said Cappoli. Then all the men picked up the assassin and took him away, to dump in an ally after they bruised him up a bit. When Larry, Mike and Pete came back, Cappoli stood up and said " Oh and Peter, please give Mr. Ginzino a visit". The next day Pete took a train to North Inglington. he then went to the estate of Don Ginzino. " Ah welcome Peter, what brings you to my parts?" greeted Ginzino." Came here to check up on some rumors. Heard someone lost 10 million dollars". Ginzino's right hand man squinted at Pete, and smoothly put his hand in his jacket. Pete almost missed that, and right as Ginzino's right hand man pulled out his gun, Pete knocked the hand away, pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest. Then he quickly slashed the bodyguard's throut who was right next to him. Right as he was about to kill Ginzino, Ginzino himself pulls out a gun, and shoots Pete three times. A few days later, Cappoli found out Pete was dead, and he knew that confronting him not not good anymore. So he sent Larry to North Inglington to track Ginzino down and kill him. Larry followed Ginzino all day until he finally stopped at a diner. There Larry took his gun and went inside. Just as he got a clear shot of the mobster, he took out his gun, and pelted the mobsters sitting in that area. But one of Ginzino's men were more attentive, and managed to pull out his gun and shot Larry aswell. The news came to Cappoli a few days later as a bitter victory. Another one of his comrades were killed, but the Ginzino family no longer lives. But Don Cappoli and Big Mike's troubles were not over. The shootings in broad daylight have riled up the down, and the Ginzino's death caused a war between other families. In the end the only family remaining was the Cappoli's. But now the town wants to have meetings with everyone, and try to weed out the mobsters. Now Cappoli and Mike must eliminate the town to stay alive.

The extra long scene is just for favour and an interesting backstory. So don't expect any Ginzino's coming back from the grave, or children taking up the family business.
