The basic setup is this:

50 players join and play EVERY OTHER PLAYER. Now it's difficult to keep track of 49 games at once, never mind other games, so I've taken the advice of a friend and decided to split the games up. Every player will play 7 games at a time (1 round), for 7 rounds (therefore premium is required... if you don't have premium and have read this far I'm sorry but I couldn't fit it in the subject heading).
The player with the most WINS gets the award for Dominance.
The player with overall best performance gets the award for Power.
One might be asking what "overall best performance" means. Well, in a tournament set up in this style the one with the most wins may not have done the 'best'. Certainly they must be skilled to have done so well, and deserve to be commemorated, but maybe they beat a large number of people who generally lost their games in the tournament. The second (or third) place player(s) may have been close in overall victory, but had beaten better ranked players (rank here means in tournament, not CC rank). With a quick formula using matrices one can find out who beat the Most AND Best players in the tournament, and therefore had an overall better performance.
With 49 games going on per person there is a total of 1225 games, so this is a huge tournament even if there aren't too many people. I've already set up a spreadsheet and will update it regularly (as in daily to once every two days).
However, I might want to get some eggs before I start counting my chickens! So I need 50 people and 10 reserves. Message me by PM or announce your participation right on this thread. I hope people like my first tournament, even if it is a little bland

I've changed it to flat rate cards. second of all I'm glad to see more people are joining and I thank you who have joined... 3rd- people seem to have a problem w/ unlimited fort... if a majority like something else I'm perfectly willing to change it (as well as cards). 4th- Killerninga, IDK if you read the whole thing but for this tournament to work people will be playing 7 games at once... therefore you must be premium (I'm sorry
