I'm looking for 16 - 2 player "teams" for a Formula 1 Circuit tournament. I say "teams" because in Formula 1 each person is racing for their own place in the race and in turn their own points, however there are teams that will sometimes work together.
Please provide me with a Team name and have your teammate post in this thread to confirm that they also want to play.
I'm also looking for 8 reserves to fill in if people drop out.
If everything goes well I'll continue on with races and at the end crown a Season champ and Season team champ. My goal is to do a full 15 race season consisting of the following races:

But first lets get through the first race =)
Each Race will consist of 5 rounds on the same map. For the Australia Grand Prix that map will be Australia.
Game settings: 8 Players Singles Sequential Flat Rate No Fog of War
Before the first round everyone will be randomly assigned a number between 1 and 10000 to determine starting positions. The lower the number the higher your starting position. Your distance in seconds will determine your overall rank. To start the player in first place is 0 Seconds behind the leader(duh). The 2nd place player will be 0.5 seconds behind the leader, the 3rd place starter will be 1.0 seconds behind, 4th 1.5 seconds, etc with each person starting 0.5 seconds behind the place in front of them. Players will be broken up into racing "packs" of 8 who they will compete against in the initial round.
After the game is completed each persons distance behind the leader will be modified based on how they finished in their race.
1st -6 seconds off their time behind the leader 2nd -4 seconds off their time behind the leader 3rd -2 seconds off their time behind the leader 4th -1 second off their time behind the leader 5th 0 seconds off their time behind the leader 6th +1 second off their time behind the leader 7th +3 seconds off their time behind the leader 8th +5 seconds off their time behind the leader
At this point standings will be posted and new racing "packs" will be formed until all 5 games have been completed and we have a winner. If there is a tie the person who had the better place before that round will maintain their position by a hair.
The top 8 positions will receive points based on their finish which will be added up to determine the season winner and season team winners.
