Classic Map Territory bonus

In the classic map North America and Europe both have 5 as a bonus for keeping well if you look at it North America has 3 spots of entry and europe has 4, I would think Europe should be a 6 army bonus? idk am i wrong in thinking this?

....Yes.

A continent bonus is not just determined by how many entry points. The amount of territories in the continent and the ability to spread into the rest of the map are important factors.

N. America is the same value as Europe because it has more countries. N. America has the second most amount of countries, and it's only three less than Europe. It is much harder to take because there are more countries to take and, because of it's decreased amount of entry points as opposed to Europe, it's a more viable option and will be ought for more.

Additionally, Europe is easy to defend with the "large mass of armies" tactic. One simply needs two large armies: one on Northern Europe, and one on Iceland(/Scandinavia/Great Britain). This same tactic can be used in S. America, Africa, and Australia, AND the western front of Asia. It does not work at all in N. America.

4 entries also for europe and africa combined, deadly combo in flat/no cards that usually gets overlooked.

europe should be worth a little more as it is harder to defend.

NA has 9 lands in it though and europe has 7 lands.

my suggestion is do not even try to hold europe as a bonus, i never have or would even try.
