Its like football, if you lose a game you can blame it on dice (if both sides are considered equally strong), like you can blame the referee when its football

Honestly, I've always felt like the dice are streaky as heck. Like, there have been a time or three where a damn cook has joined my game and beaten me 1v1 and taken a crapton of points off me. They played erratically and got the dice to go 3v3 across the entire board on the first turn, with no chance of comeback for me.

It happens, but not enough for me to quit the game. You have to remember that for every time that happens, you are probably going to get insane dice against an opponent somewhere else. It evens out in the end. The loses just tend to be the most memorable because they're the ones we get irritated about.

There are certain other Risk games out there and I've seen people complain about the dice and threaten to leave on those too. I don't think there is any RNG game out there where people don't get mad about RNG. It's the nature of the beast. I've tried out a few of them and from my perspective CC has better gameplay.

"shitty dice"? Really? We've played lots and lots of times. Anyway, I took a look at my dice stats. On average I roll a 2.9 against all opponents. Against you, I roll 5.4!!! So maybe you do have a point. However, in the long run, it all evens out.

i started warning everyone that in 2011/2012 the dice changed.
its' cost CC thousands of player losses, tens of thousands of impractical game losses.

I just lost a game last week. 17 vs. 4 for the win. i kill: 2, defender kills: 16.

this once-thriving site is a vacuous shadow the owner uses as passive income while doing f*ck all for any of us.

...and when you point this out, along with the epidemic of multi-account abusers the mods let run wild, there will be a cucked goon squad showing up right on cue to profess the wrongness of your 'conspiratorial' observations.

The story that dice even out over time is BULLSHIT...... If it is RANDOM as you say, how would the randomizer know to even shit out... after 15 years with this site, I am having trouble not walking away. The name of this game is supposed to be RISK (ya know, take a chance..)..... the only way I can get anywhere in this game is to sit on my hands and not make any play.... then maybe, just maybe, if I manage to get overwhelming force, I might get lucky (cause the dice are soooo comforting). I am guessing since I came back a few years ago ( after quitting due to the lovey dice among others)..... My win % is low teens, maybe ( I know, my gameplay and skillz have deteriorated over the years)..... And I do not give a FAT RATS ASS what happens at other sites, it is this site that concerns me

And the once in awhile that I do get lucky, is just a tease.

No good alternatives for Risk, this one is the best of the Risk game sites.

That should happen roughly 1 in 6500 times you roll 8 3v1's in a row. You've rolled 323.498 3v1's, which can be divided into 40.000 groups of 8. So as an enormous underestimate (as I'm completely ignoring the possibility of losing 4 rolls at the end on 1 group and 4 rolls at the beginning of the next), you expect to have lost 8 3v1's in a row at least 6 times during the 14 years you've been playing here.
