'Academic's' answer to climate change

Post by The ram »

This is the type of lunatic that's influencing the minds of young impressionable people. If one person commits suicide due to this, then she needs to be jailed for incitement.

'Cause everything old is new again ... Human population planning - Wikipedia

Paul R. Ehrlich, a US biologist and environmentalist, published The Population Bomb in 1968, advocating stringent population planning policies.[21] His central argument on population is as follows:

A cancer is an uncontrolled multiplication of cells; the population explosion is an uncontrolled multiplication of people. Treating only the symptoms of cancer may make the victim more comfortable at first, but eventually, he dies - often horribly. A similar fate awaits a world with a population explosion if only the symptoms are treated. We must shift our efforts from the treatment of the symptoms to the cutting out of cancer. The operation will demand many apparently brutal and heartless decisions. The pain may be intense. But the disease is so far advanced that only with radical surgery does the patient have a chance to survive.— [22]

In his concluding chapter, Ehrlich offered a partial solution to the "population problem," "[We need] compulsory birth regulation... [through] the addition of temporary sterilants to water supplies or staple food. Doses of the antidote would be carefully rationed by the government to produce the desired family size".[22]

it's hypocrisy.. the climate change people are so concerned with what they describe as humans causing climate change.. yet they continue to live their daily lives... creating more co2..
if they all removed themselves from the equation.. then everyone not worried about climate change would have a better chance at surviving...

these Climate Changers are greedy..

Is that Linda Searcy's cousin? I'd consider sitting in with her study group.

Totally agree, recently prince Charles took numerous flights to talk about climate change, but if you have the money you can justify it by paying to offset your carbon footprint. Where does this money go and how does it make your carbon footprint disappear? It's bollocks!

Now we have a crazy cat lady employed by one of the highest education establishments in Britain telling people to take it up the arse for the future of the planet. 20 years ago she'd have been mumbling this shit in a lunatic asylum, and the idiots call it progressive..
