Auto Tournament Trophies

Auto Tournament Trophies

Any questions, contact one of the Suggestions Moderators.
why is the 16 people auto-tournaments not giving out trophies?

Some of the auto-tournaments do not give a tournament award, why is this? if its fulfilling the general tournament-requirements why no trophy for winning it?

for instance..
when winning an auto tournament i got some sort of star and some credits, but no trophy to remember the tournament i won. if you guys think auto-tournaments are worth less than user-made tournaments maybe make a new trophy for the auto-ones? (maybe just add an A to the trophy? for me its just nice to keep track of what type of tournaments i have won, and it could be auto-sent just like the credits and stars, so no extra work for the tournament directors.. just seems odd to not give out a trophy for tourney-win if the reason for auto-tournament is to up the number of people playing tournaments..

easier to keep track of the tournaments you have won & the medal-hunters will be more likely to join auto-tournaments..

...then those are specifically for Star hunt, the tournament minimum requirements are for casual tournament only.

I don´t get trophies for winning tournaments anymore anyway. Someone made that stupid rule to cap the amount of trophies for winning tournaments. If there is one thing that pisses me off on this site it is that.

Yep, all the caps are completely stupid.

but it wasnt for stars it was a doodle assassin tournament.

@shoop what they cap it?! wow.. yeah that sucks, if too hard to recode the counter, why not just start a new stack?

It’s not a coding issue, it’s a people think it’s unfair if you have to many of one medal issue.

How can it be unfair for someone to fairly win a medal?

This rule can achieve nothing but the pissing off of the most dedicated players

Because they didnt want someone on the medal scoreboard with 100 of one medal and zero others. They wanted to force people to branch out into other areas that they potentially have no interest in and leave, apparently.

What are the limits for clan medales? Is it 50? Why is this higher?

I also don´t think there is a limit for challenge medals?

Are these harder to achieve then winning tournaments?

Tournaments are inherently harder to win that challenges. The latter is just about quantity.

I totally agree with this. It would also make sense to hand out some special medals for unique, difficult tournaments.

They probably aimed to achieve that with the GA-medals. If a tournament is hard to win for whatever reason, it's pretty easy for the organizer to create criteria that should be met by (one of) the player(s) that won the tournament and get a GA-medal.
A personal example: In this tourney I had won by a landslide, if the score hadn't reset in the finals. I won the GA-medal there. Come to think of it, though, this is not the best example, because the reason I got that GA-medal was for most wins in one round (and rounds didn't even have the same number of games), which could've easily gone to someone else. Anyway, the GA-medal is kind of a work-around for the tourney-cap, I guess.

That being said, I don't think that work-around actually works around the problem of the cap and I agree with previous posters that a fairly awarded medal, should be displayed. Who cares if the medal scoreboard gets topped by tourney-freaks. Actually, the medal scoreboard should be topped by players that dedicate lots of time into this site. 'Cause shoop, winning over 200 tourneys is quite insane imho and it's a damn shame we can only see the tourneys you won until 2010, which is 9 years ago, lol.
