I had a cheeseburger at Mac's Milk yesterday. Long story short, didn't have time to go anywhere better, was on a fast drive from one commitment to another, this just happened to be on the way.

I wasn't expecting gourmet, but I thought they would at least be on par with 7-11 burgers. Not even close. Just a slab of something that may have been ground beef once between two pieces of dry bun. No condiments in sight and I didn't have time to ask. Plus, their microwave was the saddest microwave ever. Half of my burger was still frozen. I just ate it frozen and pretended it was a ground-beef-flavoured Klondike bar.

I know fast food sucks, but when you're running to a tight schedule sometimes speed is all that matters. Quality becomes irrelevant. Even going to a better quality fast food place where stuff is made-to-order becomes an inexcusable loss of time. It's pre-fab or nothing.
