Yeah, yeah, obviously I'd like to see more gay and LGBT people here, and able to be so openly, but beyond that, what do you see this site as in 2026?

You mean the half-assed implementation that was put in with no forethought about how to prevent abuses? Or do you mean the well-thought out version that the community has discussed for years where all possible abuses have been discussed and possible solutions put in?

When someone does a bad job of x, that shouldn't be considered as evidence that x is bad. Not among reasonable people, anyway.
