[MC1] HH vs AFOS 20-21 of 41 - AFOS Win FINAL 7/9

Post by Keefie »

MC 1
Round 1 Match:
HH vs AFOS

War will begin May 8th, 2016

Set 1 begins May 8th
Set 2 begins May 22nd

HH 1st Contact: Keefie
HH 2nd Contact - Johnny Dickshot

AFOS 1st Contact: gorehound
AFOS 2nd contact: Paddy the Cat

Rules of Engagement:

41 Game War
Games types across the two sets as follows:

HH & AFOS:
Set 1: 3 Dubs, 3 Trips, 4 Quads, 1 Tiebreaker Game
Set 2: 3 Dubs, 4 Trips, 3 Quads

Each clan will pick the map and settings for exactly half of the games.

Round limits are allowed.
-each war has 41 games played in 2 sets 2 weeks apart
-6D+7T+7Q in home set each with classic trips no spoils, chain, sunny as tiebreaker
Only game types allowed are "Teams" (Polymorphic is not considered a team game)
All games must have automatic initial troop deploy (no manual)
All games must be sequential (no freestyle)
All games must have 24 hour round length (no speed)
All spoils are allowed.
All forts are allowed except "no forts".
Trench is permitted with no restriction.
Each map (even random) can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type (dubs/trips/quads).
Beta maps are not allowed.
New settings that are implemented after the start of the Cup will be excluded from wars.
A player can participate in a maximum of 13 Games (tie-breaker doesn't count in this total).

The12 Hour Fog Rule will be in effect: The rule does not apply to conquest maps or those games where the team going first just deploys/forts without attacks. if the rule is broken, the offending team has to reveal what was conquered (if any) and those terrs that would have been otherwise visible. if not remedied, the offended team can opt for remake before playing their next turn.

Both Clans agree intentional "timing out" by any player in a game will not be allowed. If this occurs, both clan contacts will discuss and decide if 1) it was intentional & 2) a possible remedy. If there is no agreement, the matter will be referred to the TO for resolution and their decision will be final.

I thought we were going to lose on the tie-breaker if we didn't grab the French game and turn it around.
:?
Now it looks like we will shade it by 21 to 20  :D I think I can say that without causing a complete dice collapse and losing the Cairns game! :?
Could not have been any closer!!!!
Congrats on a well fought series and best of luck against your other opponents in the Mini Cup this summer :D =D> =D> =D>

Yep, it does look like ending up 21-20 to you guys.

USA was the key loss for us, we were up on territories and deploy. We got yellow down to a single troop and somehow your guys eliminated his attacker.

Very well played AFOS, we look forward to playing you again soon.

Yes, that USA was a turnaround, the lads really pulled the fire out of the frying pan on that one!
