As you will find, you were wrong.
I expect an apology, public in communal chat and a copy of your notification to Conquer Club that you have made an erroneous error in judgment.

Well I guess you are allowing CC users to contact you through email. I don't see how else he could have your email adress.
So you go to Control Panel/Board preferences/ User can contact me per email " yes / no "-

I have not posted anything on Lucbra's board that is not in here in communal chat.

What was copied and pasted in communal chat 2015-02-18 07:46:14, and 2015-02-19 07:46:23, 2015-02-19 07;49:56, was only afterwards posted on Lucbra's public post.

It would appear I made a 'technical' mistake by posting the same chat comments on both a public wall and in communal chat. For that i apologize to all players, however, it is quite apparent to CC and anyone with common sense, that no deceptive practices were undertaken.

Even another player inside the game has said: 'no. I don't think you cheated...............Not a cheat from what I can see.'

So it is very clear to everyone and anyone, that no deceptive practices were intended. Also Lucbra received other public board messages referring to game chat, however due to my banter with other players, my messages to him may be 'lost' or unread. Hence i posted the EXACT same text on his board, so he would not miss.

Anyhow, i accept , as I have said I made a technical error.

I accept the 'warning' as being a kind reminder to not post same text on public walls as in communal game chat.

I also appreciate the support from other players who have contacted me over this post and offered their support over such a ridiculous complaint.

As for the email; i wanted Lucbra to resolve the situation as he accused me not of a technical mistake but rather of underhand and cheating practices. This is clearly what not happened.

I wish everyone well in the future and thank you for bringing this post to my attention.

While your intent may not have been for cheating your actions were in line with secret diplomacy. Posting a truce request outside the accepted channels is an act of secret diplomacy. With this in mind you were accused of secret diplomacy by Lucbra and found to have committed secret diplomacy so it is not necessary for Lucbra to issue an apology. It may be a technical error but that error is classifiable as secret diplomacy even though it may be unintended secret diplomacy.

I have since clearly stated that I accept that I made an honest mistake and it has also been noted that no deceptive intend was undertaken by me.

Anyhow, with regards to your commentary Major.Bossman, all you have done is state and highlight technicalities and what has already been understood and resolved ( days ago). You are entitled to your opinion but there is nothing new or informative in your commentary.

My posting earlier today, was because this 'post' was brought to my attention. As i have stated I am fully appreciative of the many messages of support over this matter. This is what makes the CC community as enjoyable as it is and the best around.

Please stop dragging it out. Its all rather farcical, if very amusing that people should find such technical misdemeanors worth commenting and reporting on.

If you can, please pay attention to the dates/timeline of communications before further comments.

This matter has been resolved. ( days ago as far as i am concerned)

as far as reading goes, perhaps you should have read the site rules about secret alliances, etc... it is right there in the rules... now, i truly
hope that you do this again, so you can receive a nice 1 week vacation... so again, the defense is too late, and nothing you say will make what
you did right. you communicated a proposed alliance outside of game chat. that makes you a cheater... and if you need help finding the site

While this is a rather minor offense that is becoming blown out of proportion, some of details do not appear to match the claims. newnickyboy was found guilty and warned before his email.

Also newnickyboy the point of my commentary was to point out that Lucbra was correct and you were wrong. Lucbra did not owe you an apology and was correct about the accusation of secret diplomacy. You acknowledge it was a technical mistake and not an act of deception, however the intent does not change the action. I know you have come to terms with your violation and this issue is supposed to be resolved, but it appeared that there was some tension with Lucbra.

A) u do not take into account Time zones. ( hence Lucbra is european time same as I, which is different between european countries and different to CC clock)

B) when I read the message from Anchilles.

( also I only became aware of this forum post today).

I sent the email BEFORE i was made aware of any issue to the contrary. The moment I understood, I made an apology in chat game public chat box within the game, understanding my error.

The moment I understood I had made a technical mistake, is the moment for me the issue was 'over'. ( 6minutes after receiving notification by Anchilles)

I have not asked, or persisted with any commentary furthering any claims of 'apology' from Lucbra. However, in the spirit of CC rules I am glad that my sentiment is shared by the majority and not the few grasping at straws to further this forum chat.

The reason this poxy conversation is persisting is because you are determined to find some incredulous detail in my remarks.

The typical solution to this and safest way to avoid any issues is simply post on the other player's wall with a link, stating that you want them to read the chat or something to that effect. Just avoid mentioning truces at all.
