Lord Arioch ratings

[player]Lord Arioch[/player] rates all opponents with a base of 3 stars across the board. If you are exceptionally nice you'll get 4 stars, but didn't see anyone get 5 stars on the first 4 pages I checked(edit: but a few five stars)
So if you want a average rating, play him at your own peril. I was going to say 'at your own risk, but didn't want to pun.

Precisely... i think we rate to high, my self included. And as i have written to people that asked about the ratings ... if we play again, i might rate higher or lower depending on the game... but i think 3 is were we most should be:) with some exeptions! And thoose guys have gotten their good 5 starts from me! And its funny u should say that u didnt find any 5 stars left on the first 4 pages ... cause i found at least 2 on the second page and a 5+5+4 on the first ...

And i dont think i rated u 3 stars universalchirop did i?

Lot of average player entered the July challenge, lots of average players will be getting their 3 stars, or 3+3+4 or some such... therefore the stats u are talking about:)

It would be intresting to understand the reasoning behind people leaving all these 5 stars all around ... i mean we cant ALL be exeptionell players can we?

Well fair is fair i rate what i think is right. If u feel i rated wrong wall or PM me, preferbly with a game number and if the rating were unjust im perfectly willing to withdraw it! Sometimes i might rate to fast or get persons mixed up... then i will withdraw it and so on!

One of very few people using the ratings properly and people get annoyed about it. Such a great system we have.

You do you, be true to self. You are probably on to something, such as if a player doesn't say a friendly greeting at least, then why should they be surprised when they dont receive 5 star. And if a player doesn't make great tactical moves, then they should expect a rating to reflect. I feel ya.

You never know, you may be starting a new trend called "Lord Arioch's truth in ratings, you get what you earned".

The ratings system is currently broken because most don't rate properly like LA does.

If everyone took lead from peeps like LA then maybe the ratings system could one day become meaningful.

I am guessing I rated loutil at 1 or 2 because he never gets good dice when we need them....or at least that is the way I should have rated him.

Nope no special treatment of MM ...except maybee for Doc but he whiiines sooooo much

i just play more with them and we might be way nicer within the clan than without ... so its likely more easy to get high rating with/from people u know.

And no i dont get many hate wall/pm messages just the occasional question about why i rated so and so... which allways leads me to check up the game and see if the writer were right in asking for clarification or not... Buuut it might increase now after all the media coverage:)?
