Mapmaker(s): NinjaArmy (just me, i'll use t-o-m for help if needed)
Number of Territories: can't give an exact number, yet, but i plan for it to be close to the number of territories on the classic earth map
Special Features: T.B.D.
What Makes This Map Worthy of Being Made: The concept is bodies of water are now land masses and vice versa. (ex. michigan island instead of lake michigan, african ocean instead of africa, etc.)
Map Image: I am currently working on the first draft.
I personally don't think the map is a bad idea, but You would have a hard time pulling it off in any way that would be anything other than a clone of classic. If you are up to the challenge, show us what you've got and let the community do its thing. If this is your first time in the foundry, prepare yourself... It can be a lot of work!
And im not looking for "just because it is". I want legitimate reasons so maybe i can work around the issues its had or determine that its not worth it and put the idea to bed
It seems like it died previously from lack of support... I couldn't find a posting pointing out any problems with the concept. Think of game play or something you could do to make the map unique, and You might be able to drum up some support this time around!

you've got it back-to-front.
you need to come up with reasons why it is a good idea. you need to prove it's worthy of inclusion on CC.
No problem. Just keep posting any ideas you have and let the community do its thing... They will pick them apart and tell you what they like and don't like, and ultimately make a pretty cool map. Greenoaks is right, though. It is up to you to tell people why it is a good idea. If you are not convinced of that yourself, it will be extremely difficult to convince anyone else. The foundry is, at it's heart, a consensus engine... You have to get people interested and in agreement to keep things moving.
Partner up with the "boys in blue" (Foundry Mods) if you need any specific help, they are usually very accommodating.
