I noticed and thought they were cool, just didn't think to comment on it as I forgot about them by the time I was finished my turns. (I get pretty absorbed ) Happy Birthday CC!

I was thinking of doing a bug report then remembered the B-Day Bash.
I never look at the dice in speed freestyle games, just not enough time. I was in 19 BR's yesterday and I didn't notice that I rolled 7's instead of 6's.
AoG for President of the World!! I promise he will put George W. Bush to shame!
yeah noticed it yesterday, 7s replace 6s right? hum, actually this could be a suggestion! have a dice option to change them to larger figures i don't realize how it would affect odds... a tie that gives defender advantage would be less probable; therefore the attacker advantage would be bigger. Any one good in math here?

Changing the numbers (unless you change the quantity of the numbers) wouldn't affect the probability of getting any certain roll (i.e. the numbers could be 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10000, 100000 and they all have a probability of 1/6).

I interpreted betiko's question (which may be a dangerous thing to attempt )as: "what if you could choose the number of sides on the dice for the game." For example, having a game played with 7 sided die instead of 6.
Otherwise, you're right, you can pick any 6 numbers to be on the dice and the odds wouldn't change.

I think that may be what betiko was suggesting in the first place? Anyway, I'm fine with a game using AD&D dice.

that is obviously what I meant blake... I'm not that incredibly stupid as to think that changing the numbers on the phases of a cubic dice would change odds. I'm talking about using bigger dice like swifte and funky understood. This would change slightly the odds and would give less odds to ties where the defender win, therefore would give bigger attacker advantage from my understanding (although this would be very slight compared to cubic dice)
I see nothing but dice complaint threads about the superiority of fresh water versus salt water in regard to dice rolling and how CC SUCKS because they use salt water dice.
No, I say. No, AndyDufresne. Let's not go down that rabbit hole.

BBS, perhaps we could find some happy medium? What about a river delta where salt water and fresh mix? Or does that blending lead to more problems too?

I think what you are looking for is "brackish" dice then. You would have to do some salinity tests, etc. to ensure an even blend but this is certainly do-able.
