First time posting. I've read most of the posts along the "common newbie mistakes" trend but I would be interested in hearing what common fat-fingered or user error mistakes are you plauged with or have cost you a game. (so not strategic mistakes but UI errors)
I'll start by fessing up to two:
One is spending 5 minutes deciding initial troop deployment but then accidentily dropping them all in whatever country is at the top of the list (Afganistan?).
Another is accidentily hitting the "End" Attack or Reinforcement instead of enacting the attack or reinforcement.
And that is why I will happily remain middle management.

Been there, done that more times than I would like to admit.
The worst I can think of was playing a trips game but with to many games going, thought it was a standard game and single handedly lost the game for us by attacking my team mates.
haha, I accidentally attacked my teammate in a trips game, but I kept attacking him and attacking him until I had broken all of his bonuses. Keep in mind he had like 3 bonuses, was the only one on the team with bonuses, and I wasted my 35 troop spoils cash in doing this. Only after I finished attacking him did I realize that he was my teammate and not an opponent. Boy, did I feel like a real cumbubble!
Sometimes I'll make a mistake and accidentally advance all my troops onto a territory and stopping me sweeping the board on escalating games and sometimes on team games. This tends to happen more with Rail Maps as the stations can be a bit confusing (thank goodness for BOB).
Often, I'll be going for a kill in an escalating game, and then I'll realize that two territories don't connect and end up losing the kill to another player.
I recently deployed in the wrong spot at the end of the game. I was fortunate enough to have been introduced to the Clickable Maps script by a player in my second game. What a difference it made in eliminating the potential for errors in the deploy phase. My mistake came when I needed to take my turn and played on my phone. The browser is not the best but It does allow me to play while I'm commuting to and from work. I felt so bad and had to apologize in the chat because I didn't want my opponent to think that I was prolonging the game.
I'm new here and I'm sure that I'll run into the end phase error, even more likely advancing an army when I don't want to.
I'm a big time "fumbler." I think this is because I try to play as fast as possible for various reasons: because I play at work, because I play at home and want to do something else, because sometimes taking a turn is a chore rather than fun (only once in a while!), because it's a speed game and I'm running out of time. I'm sure there are other reasons.
My most common fumble is a misdeploy, but I'm also very bad with the advance button. "Hit attack, hit attack, hit attack. Oh crap, I won and hit advance when I didn't want to advance. Oh crap, this is an adjacent game. Oh crap, I just left my bonus open to attack. Oh crap, I can't fort to my teammate." A lot of things can go wrong with the pesky advance fumble.
Attacking a teammate when I mean to reinforce them is my most frequent and humiliating fumble. I left the country and changed my name when I did that in a Mojo game.

I don't believe you. Will you prove it to me in a couple of games? Please!!!!!!!!!

Throughout my time here, there have been times where I didn't pay enough attention to the Start Game---setting up games with settings I or others didn't want to play in!
I'm such a n00b I don't even really know how to use hotkeys... I've heard tell of the power of the b button in freestyle... But I guess that's more of a confession than a fumble.

Too many times I've started a game, making it standard instead of doubles, invite a friend who also didn't realize it was standard, and we'd start the game thinking we're teammates.
