Not the only one - I'd played a 130 odd games when I saw that thread and I learned a lot too. It shows - I've won my last 6 games and have gone from a mediocre sargeant to almost a captain!
However, that may be partly to do with my switching to sequential. I gave up on freestyle because it was too unpredictable unless it is played realtime (and that takes real skill!). Unfortunately, freestyle not realtime is a lot about luck
Yep, I've done that, too. I've tried to make it really easy on myself, and that's helped, but still no wins yet. Everyone's just so darn determined. I'm not giving up, though.
Cool ideas on that thread. As for the wins they'll come with time and experience, and you may find that some maps are more to your liking than others. I've only finished 38 games here so far at CC but in that amount of time I've learned a lot from the people I've played and have even put into practice some of the strategies that have been used on me!
Thanks a lot, guys, but you're not telling me anything I didn't already know. I think it just comes with experience, and I've only played for a month. I thought I would be doing better by now, but like I said, I'm not giving up.
