I hope this is considered an option when you go to create a new game or start in one or join a game, the options of join a game that says 24 hours, 12 hours, 8 hours perhaps, this is a great idea, but players should be aware when they join a game what the time table is, if so, then very nice job, all who suggested this!
I didn't see it on Lack's To-Do List....any way we could get the option to select 12-hour turns (and/or maybe 36 and 48 as well?)
Instead of having twenty-four hours to take your turn after your immediately antecedent foe completes theirs, you have twelve, or forty-eight, or seventy-six, or however many you select (maybe a scroll wheel with one-hour increments available from 1 - 1024 hours).
12 hour turns would never work! Really, nothing short of 24 hours would work unless it was a few minutes. Can you imagine how many rounds would take place primarily when you're sleeping? Or at work/school?
Anyway, speed games will becoming, with each turn being minutes long instead of hours. So hopefully that will satisfy these requests.
It would just fine for those of us who know we're going to be near a computer most of the day.
I'm up at 6:15 for work, I work from home, I'm home most of the day every day, and I go to bed at around 11pm.
I'm sure there are plenty of people like me who would very much enjoy this option, because it either guarantees having other players for some quicker games.
Reason we don't need to have this varient, is because if you want to play a faster game, you could easily start the game when everyone was online, and then just take your turns in order. That would be a real time game, and i would recomend using the live chat to set it up. The reason to keep the 24 hr turn limit is that is the maximum time you have to play your turns, people like it when you play them faster.
Blades will bleed. Shields will shatter. But as the light fades, will the hero rise again or will darkness reign?
