In this tournament teamwork is definitely the key to success. In the first round I will split the 72 players into quadruples and pair teams up to play against each other. The winning teams move to the next round. In this round the 9 teams/36 players that are left will be split into triples and again, paired up against another team. The winning teams move up and I split the remaining 18 players/ 6 teams into doubles. Three doubles play against each other and the winning teams moves up to the final. In the final it will be every man for himself in a standard 6 player game. As the tournament will only take up 1 spot in your games, anybody can join this tournament. All together there will be a total of 72 players entering and 4 reserves. The details are as follows: Map: Classic Play Order: Sequential Troop Deployment: Automatic Spoils: Flat Rate Reinforcements: Unlimited Fog of War: No

This looks pretty good, but the only question I have about it is how are you going to determine the triples team that doesn't have to play in round 2? It would be better number-wise to have round 2 the doubles round and round 3 the triples round. Let me know so I can add your tournament to the database

My idea is to build the players' confidence in others more gradually. In round 2 there will be 36 players left from the original 72. Using http://www.random.org/ I will get every team of 3 ready and pair the 12 teams up to play against each other. There should be 6 games going on at this point, every player occupied. The winning teams will be moved to the next round where I split the 18 players into 9 teams of 2. I pair 3 teams up to play against each other, 3 other teams to play against each other and the remaining 3 teams to play against each other. The 3 winning teams are split up into 6 players who will play a standard 6 player game to become 1st.
