If it shows the game time remaining in my games page then I will be happy. But yes looking forward to this update, whilst I like CC - a lot of the todo list will make the site/game even better.

How was the last update controversial?
well he got rid of freestyle with double turns fucked with sequential.. and made quite a few people mad.
I'm not sure what planet you are living on, but freestyle with double turns disappeared back in july. Also in that update was chained fortifications, deadbeats losing points, and terminator games.
Since then we have seen many other updates, and yes, some people will always be unhappy. But the majority always seem pleased with the updates and I think the quality of the site improves with each one.

I doubt it will. No proper solution to the apparent problems has been suggested (that I have seen). Some people like to complain about the score system with every post they make but have not helped to come up with a new system that will work.
Some of the suggestions (basing the scores won/lost off of the average) make sense but they will all change the way people gain points so the only way I think they could be implemented fairly is if everyone's score is reset. But is that really fair? Who knows...
i think so. a lot of noobs (aka me) would probably have better scores if i had known how everything worked when i started. the good would stay good. the bad would get a chance to be good. i think the best idea is either to keep the points system and make the first 5 games of ur CC life non-ranked (no gain/loss of points) or to just overall revamp the system
The first few games isn't really a problem, given that your rank will average out in the long run. If you mess up and lose a few at the start, it won't matter in the long run as you'll win more and lose less than you would have until your on the same level you would have been had you not messed up those games.
I'm against this idea.
BUT why sully WHY?

He is at least saying that we don't need a revamp for the reasons you mentioned and I agree.
If you lose your first 5 games that's probably because you weren't a very good player. If you learn over time and become better you have every oppurtunity to win more games and improve your score.
That's the beauty of the current point system- the lower you get the easier it is to climb back up. The higher you get the harder it is to hold on. That is a very nice feature because in the long run if your skill and opponents stay relatively the same you will average out to whatever score level you belong on.
