I've picked up "Into the Badlands", but it's pretty much just watchable for the fight scenes if you're into martial arts movies.

Fargo is a good suggestion- I loved the first series, and really liked the second, but I think I might wait and binge the third.

RIP. The show got canceled unfortunately.

Really?! Damn. I saw the first two (or three?) seasons, plus the mini-film and proper film. That's a shame, I really enjoyed it.

Yeah apparently the production costs were too high.

I guess that's not really surprising. Shame though, that was one of the only good things Netflix have produced.

I thought it was absolutely fucking terrible. It claimed to be based on the actual history, but I found at least two or three historical falsehoods in every episode. I kept giving it a second chance, and a third, etc., etc., but I think I completely gave up after six or seven episodes. Just lies upon lies upon lies, not even trying to be historically accurate.

I don't know the history and I don't really care. I enjoyed the show as a series.

To be fair, there's a lot of doubt about how accurate Marco Polo's actual Travels were, but people still like the book and the ideas in it.

Even better than television: take a bunch of pills (of unknown variety) and listen to a CD on repeat for three days.
