You went first in our Asia game and I still whooped you. Must be skill....
However, you went first again in the North America one, and you won that one. But only because you went first, there was no skill in that one.

Arrange with your opponent that you will not attack each other for a set number of rounds. You may only attack neutrals to gain territory in these first rounds.
I am playing a 1v1 on world 2 and we agreed before the start not to attack each other for 10 rounds. We are at round seven now, there are no neutrals left on the board, we are both receiving the same bonuses per round and there is only a 4 army difference between us. Worked out pretty well I would say!!

Play rt freestyle.
I tried that in one of my first 1v1s and I got torn apart by a lieutenant. You have to be good and able to make decisions very quickly if you want to play like that

Well it's what I do and I find it a hell of a lot easier than losing all bonus armies from playing second in seq.
But if you're calling me a good player for it i'm not complaining
Im 13-2 at the moment... I dnt think going first makes a huge difference if u play maps like King of the mts where there is a significant skill factor. Sully fancy setting up 3 games??
I'm 19-11 with another 3 wins in the pipeline. However, I've only played two vs opponents with less than 2000 points. I think I've still lost points out of it though
