Well BBS Sweden being a small country which has allways "claimed" neutrality in wars and conflicts... never siding with oh nazi germany during WW2 until it was obious they lose, or the US in the cold war and so on... so we are a truly neutral country in conflicts AND we are among the top 10 arms dealers in the world, lovely no paradox here

I love how you managed to cite a Swedish gaming company in that post as well, Paradox, Paradox Interactive.
As for the "always claimed neutrality" that's just not true, the last one hundred years yes but Swedish history is ten times as old as that, the 900 preceeding years were years of no such policy.

It didn't take long on CC to figure out the system was broken. Not be interested in tilting at this windmill and sending or receiving nastygrams, I just went with a simple system.

I give 5's or I don't rate you. Nothing in between. If I play you in a game and you flame a lot of people, I just find you not fun to play with and foe you. If you want off my foe list just ask, (that implies you have returned to civility), and I will remove you. It's a game. I want to have fun. If one can't take a joke, one ought not to play with people named Silly.

If LA enjoys spending time attempting to reform the ratings system, fine. We should all have a lost cause or three. I've enjoyed playing with LA. Still not curious enough to find out how he rated me. The nice part about getting over 700, 800, + ratings is that no one person can really affect your rating.

Haha, I'm like that. If someone is genuinely a good player, good teammate or a nice person, they get a five because I enjoyed playing with them. If I think you're a crap player, but silent, I probably won't rate you at all because I don't want the hassle. If you're a butthead, but play okay, I will just mark down attitude. If you play badly and are a butthead, you get an overall bad rating.

but yeah, there is pressure to give people high ratings or they will whine.

A post dedicated to complaining that someone is actually ranking the players correctly!!!!
