I will gladly take recommendations for more names and I'll do the calculation myself, but please check the following:
Min. score of 1450
Min. posts of 1450
Joined before: Oct 2006

If they don't meet those three requirements they definitely won't beat rev kyle.

Right, so heres the deal on that formula: The scoreboard rank automatically compares you to active members only (people who have taken a turn with in last 30 days). Dividing the joined date rank by 8 compares you to active users only, so that was calculated correctly.

But by multiplying the post rank by 16 I was comparing it to all registered CC users (not correct). But I also don't want to compare all users who have ever made a post, since several thousand have made 1 or 2 posts. Just like the scoreboard drops users who have 4 games or less, I am going to drop all users with 4 posts or less, since they were never active forum contributors. (5 posts is still not very active, but its better! Getting rid of the 1 and 2 post people is the main concern).

There are 4263 users with 5 posts or more, and 21063 active users on the scoreboard. 21963/4263 ~ 5, so the post rank will be multiplied by 5.

The final formula: (Scoreboard rank) + (Total posts rank)*5 + (Joined date rank)/8 = Triathlon rank.

I'll do the calculations in excel and post the results here....including Fircoal's because you do stand a decent shot.

Oh, and to make the top 5 you need to beat 2350.

So minimum points is about 1500
Minimum posts is 300
And you must have joined before September 2006

But keep in mind, having the minimum in any category will give you about 2350 points, so you'd need to be 1st in the other two categories if you are near the minimum in one. I still don't mind calculating anyone who meets all minimum requirements though, just PM me. If you don't meet the minimums, calculate the score yourself :wink:

Your problem with this list Fircoal- your rank and joined date are both too low. Even though you excel in posts you aren't an overall candidate with two weak categories. You must do well in at least 2 categories or you won't end up top 5.

true. But still in a way being 9th is pretty good.

And in comparison to most of active CC, my join date is pretty far back. But still not high enough for a Top 5. Oh well. 9th isn't bad.

It'll be baised where ever you ask. People will more say stuff they liked the most. There are too many things that are cult rememorable to account for much.
