in the rules it says we must join games within 48 hours of receiving the pm but codydonahue still hasn't joined and it's been ~80 hours. what do we do?

i see you joined the games but i don't know if you did the right thing. maybe you should have waited until aerial tells us what needs to be done.

perhaps codydonahue told him he'll be away for the holidays and he'll join later.

I sent TKT a PM, stating that as it had been nearly 4 days since the original PMs were sent, he could join as long as codydonahue had not joined before TKT read the PM.

I had no idea that TKT was online at that time - he joined immediately. Which is fine by me. If codydonahue has a grievance (due to it being the holidays and all), I will take that into consideration and possibly make 2 more five player games (awarding cody double inoculations in those games - but he will lose 1 round for every 4 rounds played in the 4 games he missed).
I would have made an allowance through the new year - if he had posted that he wasn't going to be around, but as everyone else was ...

So, we'll see what happens.

not really. if you look in my group games after 2 games were finished baldadonis had 4 kills and godd had 2 and i had none. made i comeback and got 6 kills in the last 2 games to win the group. there's still a lot of possible kills in our games and anybody can overtake me. and that includes DresdenSooner who has just 2 active games.

exactly as i said above dresdensooner just got 3 kills and amazzony 2

and there are only 2 active games remaining.

dresden is out of both so he'll remain with 3 kills.

and the funniest thing is that the person with no kills so far (thekidstrumpet) has the best chance of winning both thus putting him in the lead with 4 kills.

my bet is that the final standings will be:

1. thekidstrumpet
2. DresdenSooner
2. DiM
4. amazzony

actually in one of the 2 active games remaining dresden is going to kill me. no doubt about it.

so this takes the scores to:

DiM - 3
thekidstrumpet - 2
DresdenSooner - 3
amazzony - 2

in the final game dresden is out and you have the most chances to win since in my last turn i failed to kill you (rotten dice) for your cards and you managed to cash in. now you have the most troops and an extra card. so if you take me and amazzony out that puts you to a total of 4 kills and in the lead as the winner of the tourney.

I dunno amazzony has quite the amount of troops in our game from what I can see through the fog, heh.

This is awesome, I love this tourney.

And in the rules on the first page it still says "5 innocs" are needed for the win, so I think either way it forces a match 5.

it actually says first to 5 wins but i always assumed that in case nobody gets 5 wins after 4 games the winner is the one with most kills.

This makes me believe I need to create at least a 6th game as DiM actually has the lead based on his average rounds of elimination and being eliminated. Amazzony isn't far behind. Tough to believe that the leader in kills is actually probably in 3rd place !! TKT could get robbed yet again !!!
