nice. i never bothered to make a book of poems. i either have to pay a publishing house to do the book and that's really expensive or i have to give them my poems they publish them (if they think they're good enough) and i get only 10% of the profit. blood suckers. i do all the work and get 10%. idiots. if it had been at least 50/50 i would have considered the option.
so until then my poems will just sit around my house collecting dust.

well, i got lucky, i was attending college waiting for my class to start, was bored, and saw a readers digest magazine for a poetry contest in the back of the book, so i applied and they said if it makes the top 50, they will mail me, and it did, they mailed me a certificate congratulating me and the book that it got entered in, was pretty happy, but there is very little to no money in it, so i never pursued it, even though the company wanted me to.
just noticed 666slut is on 2343 now dont know if this is her all time high but its good enough to make this list (sorry T)
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.
I'll calculate people as I think of them and once there is a good group we'll have the top 5. It will be weighted heavily for joined date though since so many thousands join and never come back. We're at about 170224 current members with 21075 active on the scoreboard. 21075/170224 ~ .125 (about 1/8th) So dividing joined date rank by 8 will give a normalized value.
Wicked: 1444 + 2 + 616/8 = 1523 Reverend_Kyle: 2173 + 3 + 3498/8 = 2613 Sully800: 225 + 50 + 9358/8 = 1170 JOHNNYROCKET24: 3 + 176 + 6145/8 = 947 Blitzaholic: 23 + 92 + 14934/8 = 1982 AK_iceman: 1540 + 16 + 6420/8 = 2359 AndyDufresne: 6474 + 20 + 2464/8 = 6802 lackattack: 1616 + 51 + 3/8 = 1667 qeee1: No scoreboard rank + 71 + 1317/8 = ?? (included him because he'd be first in this game if he was active!) Twill: 2161 + 100 + 297/8 = 2298
That's the list for now anyway. To do well in this contest it seems you need to have joined in 2006, have a post count over 50 and a score over 1400. And you need to be active!! Right now the post count is hardly weighted at all, since forum posters are in the minority on this site. I will try to come up with a factor to weight that more heavily and then edit the above scores and make the first top 5 list.
Alright, heres the updated calculation:
Only 10237 members have ever posted in the forums. So 170224/10237 = 16. Therefore we need to multiply the total posts rank by 16 to weight it properly against score and joined date.
Now to do well your post count needs to be above 1000 which is more fitting.

I will gladly take recommendations for more names and I'll do the calculation myself, but please check the following:
Min. score of 1450
Min. posts of 1450
Joined before: Oct 2006
If they don't meet those three requirements they definitely won't beat rev kyle.
Currently the post count is rated a little heavily which I may need to adjust. I'll think about the formulas and the number of people in each category more tomorrow.
Also, you can increase your post count and score by staying on the site longer. I wish that the joined date rank was actually a list of the oldest active members on the site....because staying longer would move you up the list. Currently what I am listing cannot be changed, its only determined by join date. But an interesting comparison nonetheless IMO!

there are alot more important catagories than post count that you did not include or overlooked. win percentage, games won, games played, even positive feedback. Any monkey can type a few words and click the "submitt" button.
