Everett was indeed the QB. Now just need to heard the name of the WR. And no, it wasn't Henry Ellard.

Mkay, another hint. This one should do it, at least for the old-timers in the audience: the first name of the WR in question was also the name of an animal in a popular TV movie and TV series that debuted in the 60's and went through several high-profile, though ultimately unsuccessful, relaunches in various media in the 90's.

No way. Even with that last hint? Wow.
At this point, I figure the only person left who A) might possibly know the answer and B) hasn't already caved and looked it up (spurg, I'm looking in your direction) is neph.
C'mon, you tarheel bastard. Make me proud.

I was born in the 80's. Your last hint didn't help much. I have yet to look it up, but I'm close to cracking.

Then yeah, I can see why this might have been a bit before your time (especially if t'was the mid-to-late 80's).

Neph, as the licentious howler pointed out, you've got about 8 months on me.
And the answer is the one, the only, Flipper Anderson. You all suck.
538, since you at least came up with Jim Everett (and thus came the closest), the next question is yours.
And courtney, if you think weis is big, you should google that mangino bloke that coaches Kansas. Holy crap.

no, 538 was the one that got closest to getting the answer.
Which reminds me, we're still waiting on him for a new question.

Ok, new question. Hmmm, let me think for a minute.
...
Here goes:
Name the last three horses to win the Triple Crown? Bonus points if you can give the years in which said horses won.

I know Affirmed did it in 1977, and I assume Secretariat won a triple crown as well. But as for the third, I haven't the foggiest.

Ok, you answered two correctly. I'll wait a bit for the third, then I'll give a hint, even though any hint will give it away.

I'll go with UNC, partly 'cause I know that neph is partial to them, partly because UCLA blows goats.
