Announcement 12
"Betrayal's a Bitch."

NESconquerer had an evil glint in his eye, one of those that can be found in wild animals just before death. He was covered in scratchs and bruises, and had run all the way down to the end of the island and had swum across to the tiny island in the corner. All he was looking for was safety. But when he got there, he realised he wasn't alone.Xencobra had taken up residence in the small island, and had been recovering from injuries, most coming from his own bastard sword, which he had grown to hate. Xen had been napping in the pathetic light that was given off from the sun when he heard NES gasping and turned to see him crawling up the banks of the island. "SHIT" muttered Xen, and with two hands picked up his heavy bastard sword.
NES was running up the hill, knowing that there was no where to run and that this fight would be to the death. Xen came charging down with his bastard sword raised above his head. NES took careful Aim with his Diskarmor, and sent the deadly spinning blade up ahead of him, en route to the head of Xen. with all his reflexes and speed, Xencobra tried to move his head out of the way, but NES's diskarmor still managed to slice through a bit of his neck. NES saw blood starting to spurt from Xencobra's neck, and triumphantly knew that his diskarmor had cut through some sort of vital vein and Xen had just moments to live.
Xen was in rage. He was so hurt all over that this new cut didn't even affect him. Like a Rhino, he charged down the hill flailing his bastard sword above his head, blood streaming from the side of his face. NES was dumbfounded, sure that he had won. Before he could react, Xencobra was upon him, and with one magnificent swing, Xen decapitated NESconquerers head from his shoulders and the head flew through the sky to land back in the water. For 10 seconds, NES's body managed to stay upright, before it painfully slowly fell to the ground.
Xen, all rage gone from him, clumsily sat down and dropped the bastard sword on the ground. His whole right side was covered in blood, and he felt woozy. Pretty soon he passed out from blood loss, so he wasn't even conscious when he breathed his last breath.
