Thanks man. Your a genious.

A spiral staircase, that's perfect. I'm going to edit my comment now with spiral in it.

I don't know if your comment had this intention, but I'm going to use it.

Thanks again.

No worries, you're welcome. I didn't really have intention in my comment, I rarely do.

much better than a silly staircase, with arbritary missing steps, anyways.

What do you mean, gregrios, by "you won't get to where you desire"?
this is at the end of your new statement for us to think about.

Where we end up is dead. Thinking anything else is delusional. Perhaps people desire to end up dead, but this is not the case for most of the population. Furthermore, your analogy is completely black and white. A problem in life = a step. You solve the problem and you go up the step. However, you can totally fail at fixing a problem and still go through life. For instance, someone who is in a war and gets their leg blown off. THis is a severe problem in life, in your analogy, this would be 'missing a step'
however, this person doesn't fall down. this person doesn't necesserily not get to where he or she desires, its just a problem that won't get resolved.

Perfect, to finish this off, I would like to say that death is indeed the only destination so no matter what you always get there. If you fall down the staircase and hit your head too hard, well lookie here your dead...

If we look at gregrios silly metaphor in this light, I realize its such a pessimistic philosphy.

You can either go through trials and tribulations by walking down the stairs(living life) or you can just quickly and easily fall to the bottom(die in some way). Either way you end up dead, but this sounds like a subliminal way of saying 'commit suicide, its easier'

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

christ man, how pretentious can you be? just because you find what you feel is a flawless metaphor to life doesn't make it so! I listened to you, and I read you metaphor, and I came to my conclusion. Isn't that what you wanted people to do? I read your stupid saying and thats the conclusion that I came to, regardless of how you get down those stupid stairs you inevitably end up dead.
Perhaps you assume people who don't share your exact opinions are closeminded, but once again that doesn't make it so. I went from thinking your quote was idiotic to thinking it was pessimistic, so obviously i did pay attention, you dolt.
You gave us one sentence, try to make us agree with it, and when we don't you get unneccesserially offended. We are allowed to have a difference of opinion, dummy, that doesn't make us closeminded.

I just have a different opinion than you! its not an argument where someone wins and loses! Excuse me for defending my opinion, just like you defended yours, but that doesn't make it a competition.
Its life, everyone's views is going to be different. This is why the poeple who CAN find ways of connecting everyone's life together are so rare and so exhalted. People like Freud and Nietche are so highly regarded because they do a good job of classifying something so diverse and complex as life. Really, my snowflake analogy is just as simple as your staircase analogy, they probably are both really wrong, but You can't get offended when I tell you this. Your post title is "Think about this" and when I actually do, you get upset, and then roll over.

I gave up because he thinks for some reason that I want him to beleive what I'm saying. Realality is that all I want is him and everybody to understand it.

It doesn't matter if you agree with my beliefs or not.

You don't have to beleive in what I'm saying inorder to understand it.

Wow, that's sort of the same theory I used with the whole Hilary Clinton debate.

Basically what I'm saying is:

I don't expect non-beleivers to beleive in what I'm saying. But how can you not understand it?

This message ONLY applies to the lives of beleivers of God.

I expect some profound statement from "whats his name", but I'll tell you right now, I'm moving on. I explained all I can. Except it or don't. It's entirely up to the reader.
