This tournament is based on the popular new show on NBC titled Heroes.

Each player will choose one of the main characters from season one to fight for:
Hero(Power) 1. Claire Bennet (Spontaneous Regeneration) 2. Claude (Invisiblity) 3. D.L. Hawkins (Phasing/Intangibility) 4. The Haitian (Memory Manipulation, Power Negation) 5. Takezo Kensei (Spontaneous Regeneration) 6. Daniel Linderman (Healing) 7. Isaac Mendez (Precognition) 8. Hiro Nakamura (Teleportation, Time Manipulation, Time Travel) 9. Matt Parkman (Telepathy) 10. Sylar (Understanding of how things work) 16. Molly Walker (Remote Viewing)
4 People may sign up for each hero; therefore, there will be a total of 64 players in this tournament.
The rounds will be as follows:
Round 1:
The four people in each group will battle to determine the advancing hero.
Each player will submit a map, card, and fortification choice to serve as his/her home map. Important Notes: All games will be standard and sequential (throughout the tournament). Furthermore, due to the mysterious/villainous characteristics of both Daniel Linderman and Sylar, all their games will have fog ON (all others will be no fog).
There will be 4 games of 4 players each (one on each home setting) with players earning points based on placements: 5 points for 1st 3 points for 2nd 2 points for 3rd 1 point for 4th
The player with the most points will advance to the next round. In case of a tie, a fifth game will be played on Classic, flat rate, unlimited, with the higher finisher advancing.
Round 2:
The winners of each hero will be seeded into a bracket based on the ConquerClub scores of the player. The bracket will then be broken to form groups as followed: Group 1: 1, 8, 9, 16 Group 2: 2, 7, 10, 15 Group 3: 3, 6, 11, 14 Group 4: 4, 5, 12, 13. I do reserve the right to move players around to prevent the possibility of an absurd amount of points lost as well as to split up Linderman and Sylar.
Each group will again play a series of 4 games, one on each setting (which WILL include fog for Linderman and Sylar on their home setting), with the same scoring and advancing as round 1.
Round 3:
The four winners will face off in an 8 game series (2 home for each) following the same format as the previous rounds. Games will be played in 2 sets of 4 games each. If there is a tie, there will be a game on classic, flat rate, unlimited, no fog, with the player who finishes higher being declared the Ultimate Hero.
It's been a busy day, so I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. The tournament looks good from what I can see. The other tournament isn't going to be anything nearly as elaborate though, I should warn you.

That's fine. It looked good enough to me. Oh well if yours isn't as elaborate; the show you're working off of isn't as elaborate (I don't think). By the way, we'll have to discuss a face-off sometime.

Thats me
The cheerleader is Claire. I almost signed up for her. Give me your settings and you'll be in.
Of course, in order to be mad - you gotta be Sylar

Don't we all?
The Haitian is a good choice. From what I can tell, by default he negates everyone's powers - but he can consciously decide to let you use them.
ASIDE: I assume you're watching this season. I noticed they've given Peter the power to phase through walls (DL's power). Of course, why couldn't DL just phase through the bullet? I mean the one that killed him - obviously he meant to NOT phase through the one from Linderman, as it would have killed Niki.
I wonder what the radius is on Peter's Power Absorption/Mimicry is? I guess maybe he and DL were kinda of close when he was fighting Sylar (what a WEAK fight that was). By the same token, wasn't he pretty close to Linderman? Shouldn't he be able to heal others?
Speaking of Peter's power absorption. Why doesn't he have superhuman hearing or the ability to freeze things or the ability melt toasters? These are all powers that Sylar HAD when they did battle (both times). I can understand his not having Parkman's new power to impart thoughts as well as reading [mainly because Parkman hadn't unlocked it yet - but that doesn't totally preclude Peter from having taken it].
Now that Nathan has Adam (Takezo's) blood, does he have Spontaneous Regeneration?
I ask way too many questions !!!
PS: If I were truly one of the characters, obviously we all want to be Peter (he's the most powerful). But, I'd really like to be able to heal others [Linderman]. Then again, if I were Sylar and somehow managed to kill Peter - it'd be all over.
I actually, I only watched Season One on disc. And they've taken the first 4 episodes of Season Two of the website, so I haven't figured out what I'm going to do yet.
By the way, you're in. (You had better hope the map gets up.)
If Madness still isn't available for live play at the start of the tournament - I'll use Cairns Coral Coast as a proxy until it is. That's got plenty of similar bonuses.
