If you were stuck on an island for the rest of your life and could take the entire modern era musical output of just one country with you, which would it be?

Beach Boys or The Beatles?

Beastie Boys or Faithless?

Justin " Short-arse Twat" Timberlake or James "ohmigod just DIE" Blunt?

Nirvana or Radiohead?

Generally I like American music more. Why? It's more active, loud, energetic, and different. A lot of British stuff is just quiet and mellow, but don't get me wrong, I love some British music...just American slightly more.

I know. That's why I said "a lot," not "all."

If I could only bring one Album with me, it'd be Cat Stevens - Teaser and the Firecat.

Germany have produced some good bands, for example Queensryche and Scorpions, two of my all time favourite bands.

Saying that I must still stick with the UK on this, for the same reasons as direstraits and johnnyrotten pointed out, oh, and plus Iron Maiden :).
