Don't you mean you like the sound of your own voice/writing?

Yes, I think it's obvious that you should continue to play tennis or any other sport that you've been wanting to take up, but never got around to doing, but don't do it on such a gruelling level, such as the one you described, or you'll wear yourself out before you even hit puberty

Don't do it. Just get onto a court when you have some spare time in the future when you're not so busy with school related things.
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.

if the only reason your not going to play is because its to hard or something along those lines then you will regret not going out. I felt that way when I didn't go out for wrestling. :(

don't know exactly what you mean... actually playing the sport is not too hard, but finding time for it is.

Join the Team. Then next year, after all the hard work your coach put you through, you will be ready to face and beat Federer.

Doesn't your school have a "social tennis" club maybe?

I wouldn't join the team if I were you. Many colleges have rec tennis groups where you just agree to show up on certain days if you can to play a bit...some have a couple of weekend tourneys throughout the year that are open to everybody and you just need to show up. It's a lot more fun that way.

I'm going to an art college. So far I have 5 different ones in my radar, and only one of them has a tennis club. And that one isn't too high on my list.

because it costs the most and will make me work the hardest and have the least amount of free time. Whatever increased wages I'd get in the real world aren't worth the price to me.

Start one.

Just joking, surely there are other social clubs around the town/city/suburb which you could possibly join though?

Then you could just play casually, when you feel like it and have time.

(Seriosuly though, I hated certain school-orientated things because of the lack of flexibility and in some cases, the apathy of the coaches.)

Stop playing tennis.

You should row (aka Crew) in the spring. All the cool kids are doing it.
