Hey, called it with the lineman thing 8)

Anyway, as for the new question:

Seeing as the World Series is about to start, ill make it baseball orientated. Name the four pitchers from the Rockies that recieved wins in the NLCS. No checking box scores!!!

All correct except for Jimenez...

Ill leave it up just a bit longer to see if anyone can get the last pitcher, but looks like you'll get the question

Alright, you got 3 out of 4 so good enough. The fourth winning pitcher was Matt Herges.

Go ahead Incan.

Ah, yeah, Herges.... former Dodger, current fatass. :D Then again, he's playing in the world series and I'm now...

New question:
What is the biggest single-game comeback for a team facing elimination in World Series history?
(I'm going to need the teams involved, the year, the WS game #, the deficit overcome, etc etc)

Not the buckner game... that was only 2 or 3 runs IIRC.

Okay, a couple of hints:
1. this happened within the last 10 years
2. the deficit overcome was 5-0 in the seventh inning
3. the manager of the leading (and eventual losing) team appeared to give the game ball to the starter when relieving him in the seventh.

Neither the grady game nor any game played between the sox and cards. In fact, this game did not involve the red sox or yankees (which, given earlier clues, should narrow this down quite a bit).

ok sweet, more world series trivia: There have been 45 multi-homer games in World Series history, but there have only been six games in which a player hit two or more triples.

who was the last player to hit 2 triples in the same WS game?

Rickey? Good question. And boo to Jake for guessing Sox-Cards (assuming you mean 2004, although the same is true for '46 and '67), any real Sox fan knows that the Sox led all the games in that series from the outset. And in '67 it was all pitching anyways, no way for a big comeback. So boo.

Not real sure about this one...

Ill go with Juan Pierre in 2003, when he played for the Marlins (2009, MLB better watch themselves  )

Marlins win the World Series every 6 years since their opening, in 1997, 2003, and the next projected is 2009.
